A Day filled with Laughter and Love - Creating Memories with my Family in the Warmth of Badekbek Sulfur Spring

Hello to all fellow Hivers all over the world! Most especially here @dailyblog community! I hope everyone is having a good day! So today is "Another day, another blessing!" And this is what I always tell myself every time I wake up and I hope you do the same too. It's been a while since I posted here and it's good to be back to share another daily life happenings. This time I'd love to share one of my most memorable days together with my family because as they say, "family comes first" and I truly believe that.

Recently, I spent a special day with my family and relatives from my side. We decided to visit Badekbek Sulfur Spring, a place here in Benguet that my husband and I have always been proud of. My family was originally from Nueva Vizcaya, a nearby province of Benguet where my husband came from. It was their first time seeing and experiencing this famous sulfur spring.

Originally, we didn't plan to just go and visit the Sulfur Spring. The reason we ended up in the area was because we were visiting my mother’s cousin who lives near the sulfur spring. She has been battling a serious illness and sadly has been given only a short time left. Because of that, we make it a point to visit her more often, to spend time with her and bring her comfort and her family. During our most recent visit, we decided to take the opportunity to bring the whole family to the sulfur spring as a little side trip.

Seeing their reactions was really priceless, especially my two sister who really fond of going into places. Lol! They were so excited and amazed by the place. They loved how clearly you could see the steam rising from the boiling spring, it was something new and fascinating for them. Of course, the strong sulfur smell was impossible to ignore, lol! but instead of complaining, they simply laughed it off and enjoyed the experience. They took some pictures, explored the area, and even soaked their feet for a short while to complete the experience.

For me, the best part was being there with my whole family, creating happy memories together. It really made me happy to see the joy on their faces, especially during a time when we are cherishing moments with our ill relative. This simple trip reminded me of how important family is and how meaningful even the smallest moments can be when shared with the people we love and care about.
