DECENCY

Take a look at the society today, what do you see in regards to dress sense? There are alot of question mark in that aspect because alot of things that where not condone before are now considered fashion. I woke up this morning, did my usual morning exercise and when I was about to step into the bathroom to shower I got a call from a friend of mine asking me to meet him at home so that we will go check someone out, so I took my bath dressed up and stepped out of the house to go meet him

On my way to his house vibing to my music with earpod, a lady caught my attention that made me looked twice and slowed my pace, this lady was average in height, young and beautiful walking as if she owned the whole world, her beauty was natural with no makeup applied on her face, she was an example of what people call "figure 8" without exaggeration but there was something else that felt wrong for me which was her dressing

She was wearing a very short skirt that could barely cover her laps and making it difficult for her to walk without adjusting the skirt to come down and a cropped up shirt that was showing her belle and then used a kimono that was very transparent to cover herself. I was very shocked at how someone will wear something like that and walk publicly with confidence disregarding all the pair of eyes that were on her and what she was wearing, it was very surprising because what she was wearing looked like it was definitely made for teenagers around 17-18 years

Looking at her, my mind drifted back to the older generation and how modestly and elegant most of them dressed when growing up, making sure most part of their bodies were covered regardless of anything leaving everything to the imagination, but when I looked at this lady I saw the reverse of everything, making me wonder what our generation is turning into and to what extent such indecency will be considered fashion

I have nothing against ladies dressing to look beautiful, to impress and to slay, but when you dress too exposively you are just inviting guys to lust after you and nothing more because most of them will just want to have their way with you and go, with nothing serious. Looking at this lady I was like "oh, how I wish our mother's are here right now" because I was certain that if an elderly mother saw her dressed like that, she will be reprimanded whether she knows the lady or not

Things have gone out of hand in our dressing culture and it's as if everyone is turning a blind eye and even some of our mother's with due respect are also trying to copy the younger generation and even supporting their dress sense which makes me to ask the question "what happened to decency" and "what happened to modesty" because i believe that when a lady dress decently it attracts more serious and responsible suitors and also showcase how elegant and beautiful a woman can be.

Modest dressing is still beautiful
Decency is very powerful enough to showcase the elegance of a woman
And Dignity matters alot and is never out of style

To every lady out there, dressing to look beautiful is not bad, slaying is not bad but always remember that you must not expose your body before you will look attractive and become sought after but you will only attract lustful men who will just want to have their way

When you dress modest and decent, it will not only attract responsible men but it will also bring out the confidence in you and note "There is Beauty in being an Elegant and Responsible Woman"
