Today I don't feel like doing anything...♪┌|∵|┘♪
Is it just me?
ƪ(‾.‾“)┐

I sleep at 8:40 p.m last night so I feel like the night is really long. But I sleep really well, I wake up twice to pee then go back to sleep again. The next time I wake up it is already 5 a.m, and gosh, I rolled up myself in the blanket because it is really cold. I wake up a bit early so I decided to read some manhwa, haha -my way to really refresh my mind. I read "I Killed the Main Player" by the way. Its a good one and I really like the art style. ෆ╹ .̮ ╹ෆ

..and so, that's enough to wake me up fully, my mind's fully refreshed and so ready to procrastinate again. Teheee (^._.^)ノ

So, Mommy F's been saying "no" whenever I urge her to go visit Generic pharmacy to get her blood sugar check. She's been declining it as if she's avoiding something. But then last night, I told her that "we will go! I will even drag you there if I have to!" I said it on a playful tone but I am serious. Lol. You see, she's been eating sweet candy every after meal and me and Mommy D was so worried that her blood sugar will surge up and that would be really bad ʘ‿ʘ
Then this morning, without saying anything, after just tidying up my bed I went straight to her clothes organizer and pick a yellow jacket, because it is really cold this morning -even until now btw at 2:07 pm. I brought the jacket to Mommy F and handed it to her and she really asked what was it for as if she already forgot what we talk about last night. Lol. So I reminded it to her. Aigooo, this oldie, lol. Just to avoid it she's really doing it. Lol

And so, 6 am and we're already on the road. Both of us are complaining how cold it is. But no choice we really have to go here while she's not eating anything yet. It's just 4 minutes walk actually -going there and another 4 going back home

There she is, she been saying that her blood sugar is just normal, and that she can feel it. So I told Mom that it us just to make sure. After drawing her blood, we waited for a result and baam, just 117. Is this still normal? Well, when Mom heard it she was like "I told you!" Haha

But 117 is really not normal according to google, it is in the area of "impaired glucose." And there's still an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes. I should tell this to Mom, aigooo. And I even told her this morning: "at least you can continue eating you candy." I should've never said that, tch.

Anyways, in the afternoon, I decided to sun bath downstairs, in Mama's yard. Mr. Sunny's up but it is still cold, these days I've been seeking more this Mr. Sunny to warm my body. In this cold weather, ,this is when I am most thankful to the sun's shine.

Mama on the other hand was busy too, she picked woods near the small stream and cut them up into smaller sizes. Although she bought sack of charcoal, having a firewood is a better back up too and I mean, it is free you know ♪┌|∵|┘♪

Oldies always find excuses when it’s time for check-ups hahaha candies are fine as long as it’s not too much. You should still keep an eye on Mommy F’s blood sugar. You’re such a thoughtful daughter Ruffa, taking care of her like that :) I’m sure she really appreciates having you there with her.
Seriously!! Haha, she knows it is important pero, aigoooo, after mom's second stroke nag iba na din talaga sya eh aigooo.
It is admirable how much effort you put into taking care of your mom's health even though she tries to avoid check-ups. T
Hehe, thanks, we just want the best for her so I really wish she would listen to us too.
We appreciate your work and your publication has been hand selected by the geography curation team on behalf of the Amazing Nature AN Community. Keep up the good work!
