Last Tuesday, it was morning, mama told me about the ripe Papaya that suddenly fall from the tree. She said good thing it is already ripe so it didn't go to waste. The only problem was, there's a small rotten part on it maybe because it was crushed by the bigger Papayas. But the papaya is still good and just by removing the bad part, Mama was able to eat a big part of it. She only ate half though

She had it as morning breakfast. She's actually giving me this other half but I declined because as I said before, I don't like Papaya because of its texture. I only ate the not so fully ripe one, it is good to dip with vinegar and salt. And actually that time, I just brush my teeth so thats more Reason not to eat it. But for Mama, this is really a big blessing. The wait is finally over and she finally had its very first ripe fruit.

Just look at that, look at that vibrant color. I can't smell it but I'm sure it smell sweet. And base on the color, it looks really sweet, and yes it really is, Mama said it really sweet. Because it is ripen from the tree, obviously, the taste would be so much better. I am kinda regretting now that I didn't taste even a slice of it. Although mamabels love papaya, she's planning to sell all the fruits of it. I support it of course

Then yesterday, another papaya fall for some unknown reason. Good thing is, this papaya three is really not that tall and this big papayas are on much lower part, as in the lowest, it is not that high to where it fall so it didn't get crush. There's a part of its skin that is already turning yellow, indication that it is already ripe. I think this is the perfect time to harvest it. The papaya even unmount itself from the tree, lol. Guess it wants to be eaten already, ehermm

And so, today, Mama harvested two more big papayas with yellowish part on it skin because she said she wants to sell it. We already know the price for Papaya because she asked yesterday but she wants to add 5 peso more because we know the quality of papaya we have, its a good one for sure and surely, they won't find this homegrown papaya just everywhere. So from 25 pesos she's planning to sell it for 30 pesos per kilo.

She made a quick trip from home to market carrying four and half kilos of ripe papaya hoping that she could sell it at a higher price. Unfortunately, her demand was denied so no choice but to sell it at 25 pesos per kilo. Its sad, but that's how it is. She's planning to sell the rest of papaya in the tree on different stall next time. Now, for the money she earned, she bought two kilos of rice foe her own consumption. Now that a super duper nice start of the day ♪ \(^ω^\ ).

Here's the other Papaya Tree that we have. What if they produce Papaya all at the dame time? That would be awesome for sure. Hehe

Let me also share this two Lukban that fall from the tree last Tuesday. If only mean one thing if they fall like this, they are ripe already. Its really convenient for Mama bevause she doesn't have to harvest it. And the fruit will tell itself when it is already time for harvest. Such a good tree fruit to have, lol.

Whoah, sagana ang garden nyo. My Grandpa calls that Papaya, "Red Lady", it's sweet and juicy. I have this weird habit of adding calamansi when I'm eating it 😋

Papayas are so good! I like the ones you can dip in vinegar and salt just like you said, although I also like the ripe and soft ones and also the pickled ones. :D
