A Moment of Contemplation, Not About Life but FOOD: Leftovers, Fried Rice, and Visit to the Market

I'm still thinking whether to make Polvoron while we're on our way to the market. You see, the Polvoron I made didn't even last a whole day, lol. It is just too good and addicting I had to scoop some of it directly to my mouth more often, lol.

I am still thinking while looking for some fish in the wet market. There's fish, but not much, there's a Manitis and Bisugo but the price is so O.A, lol. I backed out! Mommy said I can just buy carrot again if there's no fish, and so I bought just that.

Finding cheaper carrot is kinda hard today, every stall we checked, the more it gets pricier, lol. In the first shop, its 120 pesos only, then next is 130, another one is 150 -like why it's getting expensive? And what's funny is, the more the carrot look so bad, the pricier it gets. The 120 pesos is so much better so I chose that! Lol.

When I visit the market, I made sure to visit every stalls first, trying my luck to find a cheaper ones. I got this habit to Mommy D and so I am doing that too. Looking around for a carrot took time and I still haven't decided if I should buy the items needed in making Polvoron. Lol

I asked mama for help and instead of stopping me, she push me to get the ingredients saying hers is already about to run out, so I should make some and give some to her too. lol. And this time I decided to make a lot, like I used half kilo of flour. So we'll have unli polvoron for days from today on ＼⁠(⁠^⁠o⁠^⁠)⁠／

I won't share the whole process because I already shared it the other day, teheee. By the way I used four packed of powdered milk in there using my favorite brand. There's only two pack of peanuts but I actually added one more. └⁠(⁠ ⁠＾⁠ω⁠＾⁠)⁠」

And here's the carrot recipe I made for Mommy F, A fried carrot fritters, she really love this unlike the sauteed one. I also made sauteed version the other day but she didn't like it that much

As for my viand, I don't feel like eating carrots today so I decided to make fried chicken -thigh part. This amount is 50 pesos only, I think they are seriously the best part for fried chicken. But the best among all was the price of chicken, its 220 per kilo now -from 240. (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ

But the way, we have a leftover of rice from last, just tiny bit. Then I also have the leftover canned tuna (caldereta flavor) that I put in the fridge so I decided to put it in my fried rice -you know for a change ehe. And seriously, it turns out really good. I didn't put any seasonings in it by the way because the Canned tuna has a lot of sodium already. And there we have it. What I love here us that, it already has green pease and carrot aside from the pieces of tune. Perfect!
