Chilling on a rainy day

Today was one of those days where the rain just wouldn't quit. The sky was a deep, foreboding grey, and the droplets pounded against the windows with a relentless rhythm. It was the perfect excuse to stay indoors and indulge in some much-needed self-care.

I started the day with a cup of hot chocolate, wrapped myself in a cosy duvet, and went to lay on my bed to relax. The sound of the rain outside created a soothing ambience, and I felt my worries slowly melting away. I spent the morning watching movies on Netflix. The movie was so emotional, i literally cried while watching the movie. it's actually a new movie titled STRAW by tyler Perry.

As the day progressed, I decided to get creative. I bought out my laptop to create some designs for a client. The rain outside provided the perfect background noise as I created some beautiful images on the flyer and drew. It was therapeutic, and I enjoyed every moment of it, i literally spent 3 hours designing.

Later, I took a break to prepare a hearty lunch, savouring the aromas and flavours that filled the kitchen. The rain made everything feel more chilling and comforting. I even made some pancakes, the sweet scent filled through the house and made me feel like I was a certified chef, lol.

I spent the after taking a very long nap, i slept for so many hours, i woke and it was evening already. The rain outside made it feel like I was in my own little world, shielded from the outside.

As the evening rolled around, I reflected on how lovely the day had been. Despite the rain, I had managed to find plenty of ways to enjoy myself. It was a reminder that sometimes the best days are the ones spent indoors, where you can slow down and focus on what truly matters.

The rain may have been relentless outside, but inside, I found peace and contentment. It was a day well spent, and I looked forward to the next rainy day, knowing I could recreate the tranquillity and joy I felt today.
