Taking a Breather and Moving on by Travelling with Friends

I was truly excited about this day! After many years, I get to go back in Cebu City. I think, it has been 5 years ago since the last time I came.

This time I went with my friends who are going for a 2 months training in the big city while as for me I am taking a breather after years of hardwork. Actually these days I feek heartbroken because my contract with the company which I worked with for more than 3 years just ended. I've been crying a lot these days, so I think going to Cebu might help me to move on.

We rode a ferry boat in the evening and been on board for 8 hours. It was five o' clock in the morning when we reached the Cebu City port. Then we contacted a taxi using an online app going to a condo unit of a dear friend. Truly grateful that she entrusted us with her condo unit for free. Her condo is located in the IT park of Cebu which is an area with many high-rise buildings which are habitable and some are used by call center companies. I honestly felt so dizzy and I feel like my neck is going to crack from looking up at the tall buildings.

We are truly amazed by how comfortable and beautiful the area is especially the condo unit where we will be staying. I enjoyed riding the elevator, I can't help but laugh at myself as I get to experience things which is far from an ordinary and simple life in the province. I get to sleep in a room with an aircon even the living room, there is a hot and cold shower in the bathroom. For me, it was already a luxurious experience. Sadly, we just have a day and 1 night stay in the condo unit and we have to leave early the next morning. So we would like to spend the best of the day despite of the limited energy that we have from the travel.

My couple friend and I agreed that we eat breakfast outside and explore the area after we take our showers. So that is what we did. We ate breakfast in a fastfood within the area. I would say that you can find a lot of fastfood and restaurants around. After eating planned of getting inside the famous mall in the area, called Ayala Mall. Yet,the mall is not yet open, so we decided to go back to the condo unit and sleep first.

After some hours of a very comfortable sleep. We planned to go back to the mall. I am so happy, I get to enter a well-known mall despite having limited budget. Of course, we just spent most of the time looking around and asking for prices without any intention of buying. How I wish, someday I could just freely buy anything that I want without worrying for its price. After looking around, we went to the department store just to buy some items that we need. Then, we went back to the condo unit because we are also expecting some friends who will be staying with us for dinner.

Truly grateful for this rare experience. I hope I could get to experience it once again. Thanks for reading. May you also have a joyful day!
