Hello everyone. How was your day? I hope you had a joyful one.

In this blog, I would like to share with you our quick trip to the cross country market.
Just like the past days, the weather this morning was extremely hot. We had a community visit in the morning, we started and ended early to avoid the extreme heat. We successfully ended our morning activity as usual and so happy to witness that many actually joined the activity.
My mom was craving fruits, she wanted to go to the crosscountry market to buy some. At first, I was hesitating to go with her because I feel like it was just so hot to travel. Plus, I feel a bit dizzy probably because of the weather. But, I also wanted to go on a roadtrip. In the end, I finally decided to tag along.
So after eating lunch we road on our motorbike drove by my younger brother and we travelled 30 minutes to the place.

It was super hot, especially that we travelled at noon. But as soon as we reached the part with many trees, that is when I felt so refreshed. This is my best part of the travel. We get to take a shed under the big trees along the road, you get to see the beautiful mountains and enjoy a cool breeze. I took pictures while riding our motorbike.

Finally, we reached our destination. Here is the crosscountry market. They sell different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Yet, the produce they are selling doesn't come from their farms but was just resold by them. Thus, the cost still expensive.

Mom was only craving watermelon but she ended up buying a lot of fruits and crops. Aside from a big watermelon, she bought bananas, oranges, sweet corn, sweet potato and other vegetables. We were grateful that we were given discount and additional free bananas.
After we bought everything, it was time to go home. We were grateful for the safe trip. I was hoping I could take more pictures of the natural sights but both of my hands are occupied with the the goods we bought. So, I just enjoyed the wonderful sights and hot air for the rest of the travel.
As we reached home, we started eating the fruits we bought. We enjoyed all the fruits except for the watermelon. It was the most expensive fruit we bought among others, we expected it to be red and watery but we were disappointed especially my mom who was craving it the whole week. We still chose to eat it anyway rather than putting it into waste. But I really feel disappointed because we chose the biggest watermelon thinking it was really sweet.
After eating we also started cleaning the house because we were expecting visitors the next day.
It was a tiring afternoon but we had fun and we ate a lot. Until next time. Love, Nes.
