Today is my youngest brother's special day. He has finally graduated from senior high school. Other than that, he graduated with honors and was entitled with Best in Research and Innovation Award. I was truly proud with my youngest brother because I witnessed how dedicated and hardworking he was towards his studies. I am just so happy that his endurance and determination finally paid off. And I am so proud of him.

Aside of feeling happy about my brother's recognition. I was so glad that we were able to have attended his special day as a complete family. I honestly thought I could not make it and the same goes with my other brother. I actually have work today but since my youngest brother requested for my presence, I took a day off from work. And to be honest, before this joyful event, a big argument happened in our family just few weeks ago.
My two brothers had a huge fight to the extent they promised they wouldn't treat each other as siblings anymore. It happened for the first between them and as the eldest sibling who cares so much about my younger siblings, I was really heartbroken to witness them exchange hurtful words. It really greatly affected me especially my mom. It was a huge fight that we had to send my brother away from home so my other brother could let pass of his anger. I really thought they wouldnt reconcile but I was happy that before this special event they started treating each other back to normal and my other brother was able to come home.

The event was held in the afternoon and the weather was so hot. But I could still feel the excitement of the graduates and their parents despite perspiring from the tremendous heat. Everyone got even more excited as the graduation march started nad the graduation song was played. I can't help but remember as well my graduation days. As a graduate, I remember the joyous feeling of being able to wear a graduation cap and cape and know that you made your parents proud of you.
Well I didn't come just to witness the whole ceremony, but I served as my brother's videographer and photographer. I captured the special moments of him from his graduation march, stepping into the stage twice together with mom and dad to receive his award and even performing their graduation song. I felt so busy the whole day following him here and there. Well, I guess I would say I am a supportive sister after all.

The ceremony actually took so long with many messages rendered by some graduates and faculties and I honestly felt so bored during those parts already. It was even funny to witness my mom dozed off during those parts too. Can't help but took a video and picture of her sleeping. She was busy and tired the past days too so I understand.
Finally, the ceremony ended, and how we wished we were able to have proper pictures but it was really difficult as there were a lot of people. Just grateful that the event was a success and were able to attend my brother's special day as a complete family.
