A Fulfilling Day under a Fine Weather Filled with Treats and Fun

Hello everyone, how was your day? Hope you had a joyful one!

I spent the morning with my brothers and sisters in faith visiting homes and sharing words of comfort to people. It is a voluntary work and we are doing this out of love to God and the people. Today's territory is in Brgy. Bacolod which is also one of my favorite places. I love the place because it is quiet, peaceful and cool because it is sorrounded with trees. Many people who lives here are mostly farmers and loves taking care of plants.

I really love the weather today. The sky is clear and it isn’t so hot. As always, I enjoyed meeting new people and it makes me happy when they welcome us in their homes. Another thing I enjoy about this work is being able to breath fresh air, explore new place, enjoy some wonderful sights and even get to exercise as we often walk. I am actually an introvert kind of person and I rarely come out of the house. Sharing good news to people through this work also relieves me from stress.

Also today, a sister from Singapore joined us. She is on a vacation for only a week. We are truly excited because whenever she comes, she would always invite us for a lunch at their restaurant. And she still did invite us today.

After our morning activity, we talk pictures first, enjoying the scenic mountain view from behind. The after, our beloved sister treated us for some snacks from the store. She bought varied kinds of food like cupcakes, biscuits and she also bought drinks. Well it is only for the morning snacks. She told us to come over to their restaurant as she is treating us for lunch. We are truly excited as we could get to eat delicious food again for free. The food at their restaurant are truly delicious. We only get to eat at their restaurant when we have some extra money to spend.

Lunch time came and we went to the restaurant. We were surprised by the food prepared. There was a lot. There is tinola (fish soup), chapsuey, menudo, my favorite buffalo wings and fried chicken. There are also desserts like puto cheese, pastillas and yummy ice cream. I really ate a lot and my tummy was so full that I no longer even took dinner.

After the meal, we also played some games. Of course, the games came with prizes. There are towels, umbrellas, lotions, key chains and there are also cash prizes. I am so happy because I also won a cash prize. It was a lot of fun. We also sang some songs and spent the rest of the time chatting and exchanging encouraging stories.

It was trully a fulfilling day as always when you spend it with good friends and when spent to important things. Truly grateful that I belong in this organization filled with love and happiness.
