Hello to all my Daily Blog friends. Today I want to share my experience of buying clothes that are affordable yet still good in quality. I believe happiness doesn’t always come from expensive things. Sometimes, the simple and practical choices bring more joy because they teach us to be wise and content.
Today I bought some clothes from the ukay ukay. I came from the SSS office and since this shop was just nearby, I passed by after my appointment. There were so many choices, some were hanging while others were just on the table. It was really worth the visit because their ukay items are so affordable.
I also liked that while I was choosing clothes, the place was cool because they had a big electric fan. That’s why I stayed here for a while, just looking at different styles. Then I thought, maybe in December I will come back here. If I have extra money I will buy many clothes and give them to our church, especially for the children. I really hope I can come back, because there are many people I want to share with.
While I was choosing clothes, I thought, what if I also start an ukay ukay business like this? It seems good because the clothes don’t get spoiled even if not everything is sold. I also notice that many Filipinos like ukay ukay because the clothes are branded and have strong stitching. That’s why I think maybe it’s really a good idea to have an ukay ukay business. Do you think I’m right in thinking about starting this kind of business too?
I remembered before, my mother used to buy ukay ukay. She would collect them first and when she already had many, she would sell them to our neighbors with a little profit. My mother was really good at finding ways to earn. She told me that there are always ways to make money as long as you are hardworking.
Shopping for clothes can be tiring, but I enjoy it because it makes me happy. I really like doing this even if the sun is hot sometimes as long as I can buy something I like I’m already happy. I think you also enjoy ukay ukay shopping, am I right, my friends?
Most of the pants I saw had big waist sizes, so I couldn’t buy any for my son. Maybe in another shop I can find the right one. I was also looking for a bag that’s a bit big, something I can use for the market so I don’t always have to buy eco bags.

That’s all for my vlog today. Thank you so much to all my Hive friends for always supporting and reading my posts. See you again next time.
True, so many branded in the UKAY-Ukay and some are not used or mall pull outs. I do also ukay-ukay shopping or second hand . Not only for clothes but for furniture too.
