The Arcade Adventure

I have come to realize that going alone to an arcade center is great but going with a friend is more fun and exciting.
Having someone to share in all the little giggles, fear, suspense, wins, and losses is pretty nice. Today, I got to experience all of these emotions with my friend, and I enjoyed every bit of the adventure. Right now I don’t mind doing it again and again.

We set out for the arcade center right after church. It took a lot of self-motivation for us to go to the arcade center today because deep down in our hearts, we just wanted to go back home and sleep as usual. A typical Sunday for us is going to church, and resting all day while we prepare for the busy week ahead of us.

We were glad we were able to go to the arcade center as it was worth our time, energy, and money. Surprisingly some of the games were pretty affordable compared to what we had budgeted. All we had to do was purchase our coins, insert and play. The more games you can play is determined by the number of coins you have.

We started off with the basketball game which was one of the simplest games, and leveled up as we progressed.

The dancing game was my favorite, for someone who cannot dance to save her life, this was the perfect tutorial I needed but sadly the person we asked to record us didn’t do a good job. We thanked her but didn’t bother to ask anyone to record us again. Everyone was busy having fun so we did the same, living in the moment and enjoying every bit of it. We’d probably go with a tripod next time.

Then there was the karaoke game which was a complete disaster for us. We both suck at singing, so you can imagine what we were singing in there, good thing we were the only ones in the booth singing and single-handedly destroying and remixing John Legend’s All of me, to the best of our ability.

We played other games and we kept buying more coins to play to our heart's content. All the games in the arcade center are unique and wonderful. We won a few games and failed a lot and in a bid to redeem ourselves, we tried to play them several times but ended up still failing😂😂

After sweating it out, we went to get food and drinks, chatted for a very long time, and went home feeling happier and fulfilled for going out today.

In all, today was fun-filled. What would have been a regular day for us turned out to be an amazing day.
