STEPPING INTO JUNE WITH GRATITUDE AND PURPOSE

Yesterday was another beautiful day for me. I woke up as early as 5:30am to get my day started even though I was feeling a bit tired from the previous day’s activities. I had an exam yesterday and I had to study and revise well for it. I made sure to take some timeout to rest a little before going for the exam and I was glad I did. After my exams, I had to go to the Church’s meeting place to assist others in cleaning.

When I got there, they already started cleaning and I immediately joined them and in about 1 hour, we were done with the major things that needed to be done. Those in charge of technical work had some work to do and the others just stayed back to rest and also chat with them. The whole experience was fun and memorable. I was just very excited talking with everyone and I’m sure they were happy too. After the technical crew were done, we all went home together since most of us live in the same vicinity. On our way home, I was attracted to the clouds and I just brought out my phone to start taking pictures! Hehe.

The clouds were not so bright but they had this unique feel that I just wanted to have on my phone. I even asked someone to take a picture of my hands with the clouds, hehe. As we moved forward, I stayed behind to steal a shot of everyone except myself and the person walking close to me. It was nice seeing how they were so engrossed talking to each other.

We finally got to my school’s main gate and I couldn’t help but admire the flowers 🌹. I quickly took a shot of it and Godcares said she wanted me to take a picture of her and I did. She wasn’t feeling well though but I was happy to see her happy. And I also wanted a picture too and I asked Jay to snap me.

We finally got to the bus stop where we wanted to board a bus home. Immediately we alighted the bus, we got to a particular place and we all went out separate ways. They sell grilled corn there so I bought two for myself and the person walking with me. It was really nice.

When I finally got home, I had a meeting online so I couldn’t even freshen up first or even rest even though I was tired and feeling sleepy. While the meeting was on, I used that time to prepare what to eat because I was also very hungry. I prepared soup and eba. It was nice.

The meeting took quite a long time and I still had other things to do so I couldn’t wait and I had to excuse myself to get ready to do the other things I had to do so I could go to bed. I freshened up and started working immediately and by 11:30P.M. I was done and I quickly retired to bed.

Overall, yesterday was a successful one for me. Not really the best but was one of the best ways to end the month and I’m glad I could accomplish the things I was able to accomplish and it’s all thanks to God. Hopefully today will be a lot better and a start of better things to come even in this new month of June, 2025.
