What A Day!

Every day is another day. There are some days when we anticipate good things to come to pass and there are times when we make plans for how we want our day to look like. At times we get to feel the energy of a cool day from the early morning time. And there are also times when we feel as if it might not be a good day from the energy that came forward.

I remember some days when we were in elementary school, as a kid back then we always wanted to have more time to play especially during the weekends then it would feel like Mondays were just another day to be stressed. But yet the vibe of getting to school remains a good one.

Whenever it rains so early in the morning that we can't make it to school at the right time, those days are always like a bad day for everyone, to us as lids it's one of the best days. This is because the rain must have given us an extra opportunity to resume school late or not even go to school that day at all and then play at home.

Waking up today was too good news which gave me the vibes that it would be a good day as I looked forward to how the day would come out to be.

My friend whom I went to attend his wedding ceremony sometime last year had his wife give birth and it was good news. I was so happy to hear it, now my friend is becoming a father!! We had a video call for hours and it was just all fun.

Then I had to check out my farm. Work will keep waiting for the jobber, but time on the other end doesn’t wait for anyone. So this is just a reason why I have to take my work and not joke with time also.

Checking out the farm store where I get to store my fish feeds, I realized I just have a few left, this can't even satisfy the fish for the morning not to talk of the whole day. I think it's time I have to go get some feeds.

I dealt with other works, cleaning the ponds, pumping water, and refilling the ponds, and then I had to get prepared to head out and get the feeds.

I boarded a bike, then took another bus down to the storehouse. I bought all I needed to buy and was about to make payments when I sighted someone from a distance. Hehe. Walking so majestically.

Who is this? Is this not Yahya? Ooh, my childhood classmate. Oooh!

I guess he hasn’t forgotten about me yet too. Ooh. Abdulqudus! He screamed elegantly and embraced each other with a warm hug.

We exchanged greetings and had a little conversation because time wasn't on outside. So Yahya is not into fish farming too! It's almost been over a decade since we saw each other. Life had changed on both ends. He quickly exchanged numbers with me and asked the directions I was heading towards.

We were heading in the same direction. Oh wow! What a nice car! We loaded out feeds in his car bunk and then kicked off for our destination. It was nice meeting with him again. The good news in the morning and the meet-up in the evening made my day!

Today is almost gone, I hope for better days ahead…

That must have been a well-spent day for you. Having to meet your childhood classmate and then how it all ended, that must be a great vibe for you.
