Hey Hive fam, its been a while!

Hey everyone, how are you doing? I realize it's been a while—a full month—since my last post on Hive, but I promise to pick up my writing again soon. I just wanted to quickly update everyone on my situation and explain why I haven't been posting lately.
I attend Yabatech, which stands for Yaba College of Technology, as some of you may already be aware. And believe me when I say that studying in Nigeria is no joke! We began the new session more than two months ago, and since then, everything has been really busy.

I'm in my third year of the National Diploma (ND3) right now, and the strain is beginning to rise. Due to the heavy workload, I've had to devote the majority of my attention to my academics. However, what's the deal? It's been coming in handy! I'm glad to report that thus far, I've been receiving some really nice grades.
I understand that there are many among you who may be thinking, "Come on, school can't be that hard, right?" Let me tell you, it's not easy being a student from Nigeria. We deal with a lot of issues that students in other nations might not even consider. For example, power disruptions can occur when we are attempting to study for a significant exam. Or, in order to make ends meet, we might need to balance our education with part-time jobs. It is undoubtedly not always easy sailing.

However, what's the deal? We Nigerian students are tough. We are able to work hard and maximize our resources. And for the past few weeks, I have been doing just that. I've been working hard, staying up late to complete tasks, and making a sincere effort to take in what I'm learning.
I realize that I expressed earlier my hope for a successful semester. However, what's the deal? I'll put that in a different way. I'm going to succeed, I KNOW it. Since that's the mindset that's required, isn't that right? Thinking positively and all that lovely stuff.
However, I have to admit that avoiding Hive hasn't been simple. I miss exchanging ideas and experiences with you all, reading your postings, and connecting with you all. I've always felt free to express myself on Hive and interact with individuals from around the globe. In some ways, it feels like a second home to me. In terms of earnings, I have also been without income for weeks now, I have been on a power down trying settle so many stuff as a mom and also a student, It's not easy, but I just need to figure out a ways to get by.

One must make difficult decisions. And I have to prioritize my studies right now. I'm hoping everyone can get that. It's not that I don't want to be here; I just need to give my studies priority for the time being.
That doesn't mean I've forgotten about you all, though! In fact, whenever I take a break from studying, I frequently find myself thinking about the Hive community. I wonder what worthwhile posts I could be overlooking, what stimulating conversations are taking place, and how everyone is faring.

It's rather remarkable, I must admit, how devoted we can get to virtual communities such as Hive. It's a genuine community made up of actual individuals who genuinely care about one another, not just a website or blockchain platform. And that is a unique quality.
What will happen to me now? I'll continue to work hard in my schoolwork, though. In a few months, I have exams, so I want to make sure I'm ready for everything. But I'm also going to make an effort to strike a better balance between my online and academic lives. Not to mention, we can't forget about my little meees, who require my care as well.

I can't promise that I'll be posting every day or even every week. But I'm going to make an effort to check in more often, even if its just to leave a quick comment or update. Because at the end of the day, Hive is still an important part of my life, and I don't want to lose touch completely.
To all my Hive friends who've been wondering where I've been, I hope this post explains things a bit.

Welcome back - I missed seeing your posts ! But I totally understand why you've had to focus on your studies. I can't think of anything harder than studying at the same time as looking after a family !

I hope you assigned your HP to an automated curation trail and kept some HBD in savings, that way your Hive account can quietly keep growing even when you are busy studying đŸ˜€

I actually powered down my account to do some stuff , but I will stop this power down after this week. I just need to come back and build again, but that will be gradually.
Thanks for your concern, I truly appreciate it
