Dcity was the earliest and the passive game in the Hive and actually it was also very popular game too in its initial days when players regularly used to buy and sell the Dcity NFTs. At that time, buying NFTs generated income in SIM tokens, which could be reinvested to buy additional NFTs. It was a kind of satisfaction that the players used to get by increasing their city size. I still remember that the first generation cards used to be Citizen, Basic home, Apartment, Weed farm, Bank, and Military Industrial complex.
Above is the screenshot of my Dcity that I have taken from my old post about Dcity and my Dcity used to look like this. Now Dcity game interface is no longer available so I cannot view my Dcity. But good thing is that these cards are actually NFT and still in my ownership even though interface is no longer available to see them in the old way. This the actual power of blockchain and decentralization that even though game interface and game is no longer available to play, players still own their assets.
Game is no longer available to play, so the game developer decided to distribute all the Hive associated with the game account to the players and SIM holders. A big shoutout to the @gerber for this when many of the crypto projects are rugging or shut down without any compensation.

Also the game NFT if burned will yield the SIM (in a similar way when splinterland's core set cards on burning give DEC) , Since game is already no longer playable, it is good to burn those NFT unless you are collector of Dcity NFT and want to keep them.

As you see, I have NFT burn worth 5837 SIM and I burned it too.
My next step is to send 1 million SIM to null as a second part to take part in Hive rewards distribution in coming days. I am not in hurry to burn SIM as last day is 26 June 2026. Also when you send SIM , make sure it is 1 Milion or in multiples of natural number of 1 Million because you will get 1 entry for 1 million SIM , not the proportional entry for the SIM burn.
So let us bid adieu to Dcity now and do not panic if you do not have 1 million SIM as you can buy and sell SIM using tribaldex lquidity pool.
