I hope all of you are doing well and welcome to my another splinterlands blog, where we will begin the show by taking a quick look at the current season and looking at the clock, we have only 22 ours remaining when i am writing this post, so if you are also actively playing in this ongoing ranked season, I hope you are already aware of it and have either reached your goal already or trying with your level best after it. I can guess the season end bloodbath has started already, especially in the higher Diamond and Champion leagues, where all the OG players with their untouchable arsenal of cards jump into the battlefield and turn it into a mayhem. So weather you are chasing to enter the next league tier to collect those juicy reward chests while completing your daily quests, or you fighting for the honorable leaderboard position in the highest champ league, wish you all the best for this season and for the upcoming one, which will start by tomorrow.
Now, moving on and take about the freshest and juiciest new mode in the game - the Frontier Mode and I hope you all are enjoying this free-to-play game mode everyday and collecting those rare foundation edition cards by completing your daily missions. As I have shared in my previous splinterlands posts, I am also focusing on this new mode recently and been completing 2 or 3 claims from the daily rewards. Today also, I have already playing enough to score 10 wins and also claimed 2 rewards for them. I am right now in Bronze I to II league tier range, So, I am getting 2 cards and 1 frontier entry for each reward claim. I have shared the outcome of the 2 reward claims today in the screenshot above and as you can see, I have got 3 common and 1 rare cards. But after playing a while to chase those rewards, my energy bar has become very low with only 6 energies left, so I am thinking to let it rest until the next day and play again. Let me know how your journey is going with this mode in the comment below.
Now, let me come toward the main topic of this post as today in this post, I will be talking about another Conclave Arcana edition monster with you all. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing about the ZARGRUL. So, if you are interested to know all the details and advantages of this card, then lets take a dive without any further ado.
is a monster type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card-set. This monster belongs to the Water element and it comes from the Orc bloodline. Now, to use this monster in battles, you would meed to spend a whopping 8 mana cost, so I would say using this monster in medium to high mana limit matches would be beneficial. By rarity, it is a Legendary type card, so you would need s total of 11 BCXs of cards in order to upgrade it to max level. The attack type of this card is Magic and apart from a huge health, a tiny armour and decent speed, this monster also features 4 awesome abilities at its max level, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more below.
At level 1, this monster card receives 1 magic attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 11 health. Apart from this huge stats that it gets even at it first level, this monster also gets an ability called Taunt. This ability will turn this monster into a magnet and attract all rear enemy attacks on it.
TAUNT
- Draws the attacks of enemy units, Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, windbreak, or enemy units in the First position.
When you upgrade this monster to its next level 2, there it possesses the same stats as of its previous level - 1 magic attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 11 health. But, though its stats remains same, it does get something cool - the Bloodline attribute ability, which will now help this monster to boost similar bloodline monsters with this ability.
BLOODLINE ATTRIBUTE
- When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armour and +1 power to each shared attack type.
When this monster gets upgraded further to level 3, it then gets an increased 2 magic attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and an increased 12 health. Mot only that, but it also gets another new ability called Painforge, which will help it to gain more attack power.
PAINFORGE
- +1 power when damaged by poisoned or burning or hit by an ally.
Finally , when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 4, here also it gets the same stats as of its previous level - 2 magic attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 12 health. But, though its stats doesn't get any boost this level, it gets a new ability called Expose at this level which completely change the game.
EXPOSE
- 80% chance to remove Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, Armour, Cleanse of Immunity after a successful attack. Expose will always remove immunity first.
Last but not least, as the stats and abilities clearly show, this monster is built for the big mana games, where its large health bar will help you to defence longer, where its decent attack power along with those powerful abilities will help you to take down those enemy unit faster. So, I think this monster deserves a spot in your collection if you want to stay competitive, what do you say?

Hi, I like "Zargrul." His "Taunt" ability allows him to attract all attacks, becoming a shield for his teammates.
His "Bloodline Attribute" ability is very similar to the "Martyr" ability because it activates when the monster dies,
with the difference that it only affects units of the same bloodline.
I think it's great that the "Painforge" ability increases its power when it's poisoned, burned, or damaged by a teammate.
When I encounter this ability, I always lose.
I find the "Expose" ability very useful because if it's capable of removing abilities, the enemy will be more vulnerable to defeat.
Nice post, my friend.😀
