[PT-BR / ENG] Oath of Conquest for non-Evil Characters

Hello everyone!

I've written a small Oath of Conquest for my True Neutral Goblin Paladin, and I wanted to share the text with you folks. It's kinda difficult to understand how the Oath of Conquest can be done for non-evil characters on Dungeons & Dragons, as the tenants, as officially written, are just too dictatorial for my liking.

By the cold iron I will wear and by the flame that already burns in my heart, I swear by Tymora to build a refuge for all those in need.

With courage, my hammer will destroy evil and, with firmness, my shield will protect the helpless. I will sacrifice myself so that the weak can find shelter behind the walls I will build.

I will create a beautiful place where ordinary, simple people can enjoy freedom and forge their own destiny, with the blessings of Lady Luck.

May this place, forged by my hands in the name of Tymora, be a home for all those who need a home; may it be a tribe for all those who wander alone; may it be a refuge for those who are fleeing.

But this beautiful place will also be a sanctuary of balance. Balanced, according to Tymora's lessons. Everyone's freedom will be reconciled with justice and order: every stone will be laid with precision, every street will have a purpose, and every space will be made so that everyone has their own space.

Sometimes the shadow of evil obscures the light of goodness. I swear to face the darkness, so that those who do evil feel the weight of the chains of justice, because today the only ones who carry the burden on their backs are us, the fishermen, the workers, the forgers. They? They never feel the weight of anything, because they carry nothing.

But it is in these darkest moments that the true light of freedom shines. May the wicked suffer so that the virtuous may go free and prosper in this beautiful place that I will erect, guided by the hand of Tymora and the infinite threads of fate!

[PT-BR] Juramento da Conquista para Personagens Não-Maus

Fala galera!

Eu escrevi um pequeno texto para servir como Juramento do meu paladino para o "Oath of Conquest" (juramento da conquista). Normalmente esse Oath é para personagens evil, a forma como ele é escrito originalmente tem essa pegada; mas eu estou com um personagem que é True Neutral e mesmo assim quis ir por esse caminho.

Então fiz umas modificações no juramento!

Pelo ferro frio que vou vestir, e pela chama que já arde em meu coração, juro por Tymora erguer um refúgio para todos aqueles que precisam.

Com coragem, meu martelo destruirá o mal e, com firmeza, meu escudo protegerá os desamparados. Eu me sacrificarei para que os fracos encontrem abrigo atrás das muralhas que irei construir.

Criarei um lugar bonito, onde as pessoas comuns e simples poderão desfrutar da liberdade e forjar seu próprio destino, com as bençãos da Senhora da Sorte.

Que este lugar, forjado por minhas mãos em nome de Tymora, seja uma casa para todos aqueles que precisam de um lar; seja uma tribo para todos aqueles que vagam sozinhos; seja um refúgio para aqueles que estão fugindo.

Mas esse belo lugar também será um santuário do equilíbrio. Equilibrado, conforme as lições de Tymora. A liberdade de todos será conciliada com a justiça e com a ordem: cada pedra será colocada com precisão, cada rua terá um propósito, e cada espaço será feito para que todos tenham seu próprio espaço.

Às vezes, a sombra da maldade obscurece a luz da bondade. Juro enfrentar as trevas, para que aqueles que praticam o mal sintam o peso das correntes da justiça pois, hoje, os únicos que carregam o fardo nas costas somos nós, os pescadores, os trabalhadores, os forjadores. Eles? Eles nunca sentem o peso de nada, pois nada carregam.

Mas são nesses momentos mais sombrios que a verdadeira luz da liberdade brilha.

Que os maus sofram para que os virtuosos se libertem e prosperem neste lindo lugar que erguerei, guiado pela mão de Tymora e pelos infinitos fios do destino!
