Guest Author Success

It is fair to assume most DUO stackers noticed increases to the dividends, this is a result of a daily @duo-curator posting frequency with the launch of guest author posts like this one.

We invited all the DUO stackers to join in this effort as some already have and to share this opportunity with other hive friends as it's open to anyone that is not black listed even if they hold no DUO, it is also a way to get into the DUO ecosystem by being a guest author and requesting a payout in DUO instead of HP/HBD on their guest post on top of the 5 DUO they would earn either way much in the spirit of hive and how it allows so many an opportunity to earn from content creation and much more.

Invitation to art

A guest author post doesn't have to be Pulitzer prize worthy as long as it's original content and is not super lower effort we are here for it.

And so I invite you to make some art for a DUO guest author post, Art is a great way to make content for your blog post and is very helpful for daily posters, there are some other things that can help with that but we will save that for a guest spot I do another time.

Getting started

Even if you never made art before it's never too late , you just have to be willing to try!

So let's give it a go together!

So right below is the finished result, The most important part of it is, I think it looks pretty nice and I also enjoyed making it, and it's also great content to post about.

I wanted to use some free apps so more people can give it a go, the first was craze

It's a neat app that lets you draw with some mirror geometry so I quickly wiped up this neat little image you see below.

Then I used an app called Pixlr to do the editing this app is on all platforms they even have a webapp and it too is free!

I started out with some overlay effects but the black background was not getting much of the effects I tried

So I back tracked and tried to invert the background in hopes more of the overlays will be visible on that part of the composition

This did not really solve the problem but I still found this neat filter and applied it however I removed the effect from the middle only effecting the background and I suspected after this the other overlays will appear better

And as you can see my suspicion was correct this other filter layed over appears better and I am more or less happy with the composition

I then did the autofix and auto contrast to give it a bit more of a pop and detail and I called it a day

That is about it like I said you just have to be willing to try and experiment and you can also make something cool, and why not share that journey in a DUO guest author spot ? And perhaps you can pick it up and make art to help keep you more consistent in posting .
