Prisoners allowed to celebrate Christmas in Ghana.

The rumor that says that prisoners were given privilege to celebrate Christmas as a free citizen in Ghana.
Everyone deserve to be happy not minding who we are, our individual differences, and the situation we might had found ourselves in, it's true that it sounds new to hear that prisoners were given the privilege to celebrate Christmas outside the prison yard, honestly speaking I had never heard of such action or in news that something like that ever happened before, And what makes it interesting is that they are all prisoners.

Prison is a place where high crime committers are taken for correction purpose and for them to pay for their crimes, according to the law of many African countries. Now giving them that chance to celebrate Christmas freely like a good citizen surely may look unright to Many individuals based on different views and understanding, some people might say it wasn't right at all, with a reason that they are all prisoners, and they do not suppose to be given such privilege.

In another perspective, it might be seen as a space offer to them as Christmas free movement just for some time, and not that they are completely free to go.

Now to my personal view, is that right?, or it's totally wrong?. My honest answer is, since the privilege is for a particular period of time, it wasn't bad. In as much as they will later be moved back to their normal place of being, the space they enjoys will only last for just few moments and it will end. It's true most of this prisoners had done very terrible things which lead them to prison, most of the crime they committed may be unforgivable in the eyes of those who witnessed the act and also punishable by law and that's why they are in such condition. That is the reality of life and also what citizens should bear at the back of their minds because any one who is still comfortable in doing what the law of the country forbids will still face the consequences, and as Ghana is concerned, it is popularly known that no one is above the law.

Considering the fact that they are also human beings like me, they were once a free citizens before their crime cause them to be denied the freedom they once had. Being locked in a prison might look the same like a caged bird, which is always separated from a lot of good things that it needs and wants. It's true they are lacking almost all the things that they used to enjoy earlier, just as they used to be free and it will be so so annoying and frustrating for them to be in such condition, and that space they used to have before is no longer available for them.

"A popular saying says, everyday for the thief one day for the owner" that one day had already catch up with many and another one day is also on its way to possess it's possession. Being a good citizen is always peaceful and fantastic just obey the law and you will be safe.
