The Power of a Personal Motto

Life is beautiful and like a rollercoaster journey that's filled with ups and downs, from lessons learned to experiences and moments that shape our lives and who we grow up to become. Regardless of what these experiences are, be they the challenging or the joyful ones, one thing I've come to learn and adopt is a personal motto that reflects my person, my actions, decisions, and perspective about life, and in this article, I'll be telling you about my personal motto that has become an anchor that helps me navigate through the uncertainties of life without delving out of my values.

Talking about my personal motto on life, I guess everyone has one or makes one up at one point in their lives to help their path, and for me personally, mine is to live with purpose, spread kindness, and cherish every single moment. This motto is brooded from my perspective about life, my way of life, and the likes, and if you're wondering why this motto, below I talked extensively about it.

The various life experiences I've had have made me understand that living intentionally is how true happiness comes, and so does treating others with kindness and making the most of each moment. On several occasions I've written about how I got unmerited favors from both those I know and total strangers, how my act of kindness and making each moment count has come back to save my life, amongst other things. These challenges I've faced financially, in health, accommodation, and others, have tested my strength, but one thing that truly matters to me and how I've come about this motto is because just like I've been impacted, I want to do the same to others and live a life that spreads positive energy to those around me.

Talking about how I came about this motto, I'll say my life journey and the experiences I've had are what shaped this motto over time, from experience in the physical world to that of the digital space like we have here on Hive Blockchain, a space that has helped rekindle my passion for writing and serves as a reminder of the power of purpose, I can't forget that in a hurry my love to travel, seeing new places, and having a memorable time with loved ones, Hive and life offline has also reinstated that with recent outings to meet Hive friends in person and hang out with colleagues I've had in notable places from time past till the present moment, and with all of these and several others, I've made up my mind to stick with this motto regardless of what life throws at me, because it has become like a watchtower that shines light on my path.

This motto has helped and impacted me in positive ways, and some of them are reminding me to give my best in everything I do regardless of the challenges, be it at work or other places, also pushing me towards my goals and never letting me take my loved ones for granted, helping me dedicate time to bond with them and several other things to name a few, and seeing how helpful it's been, I won't let go of these goals regardless of what life throws at me.
