Success is what everyone of us craves and longs for, and when we finally attain it, it goes on to bring about comfort, recognition, opportunity, and much more. All of these go on to help us reduce our worries, stress, and the like, which, when such happens, brings about happiness, so in a way, when they say success brings about happiness, you're right, but that doesn't mean success will automatically bring success. To shed more light on this, I'll be talking extensively about success and happiness, if they stimulate one another, and if it's automatic or something else. So without further ado, let's delve into it.

We all want to be successful and try everything within our power to attain it, and to be truthful, one of the major reasons we want to be successful is so we can have a better life and be happy, but that doesn't mean success is an automatic ticket to happiness. Success can make you happy for a while, but it doesn't bring lasting and genuine happiness. To make it more understandable, while success brings happiness to some people, the same isn't the case with some people, and that's because what makes people happy genuinely is the trait of contentment. When you succeed and have no contentment, you'll feel like you've not had enough and tend not to appreciate what you've achieved.
So what that meant is that success can bring happiness, but only to people who are appreciative of what they've achieved, only to people who have a purpose and are grateful for every step and milestone they crossed. It's good to be grateful and contented and appreciate the little things we have because that's what brings about genuine happiness, not the success, not the money we have, not the height we've attained. Learn to be contented today and appreciate the little things and win; only then can you be truly happy.
Life is unique and has lots of things to offer, but what brings about happiness isn't only the external factor; in fact, the major thing that assures happiness comes from within. It's our ability to be grateful, our ability to appreciate what we've, and our ability to understand each phase of life and be contented with where we are while we try to improve and grow. We must learn to relish the moment and be grateful for it.

Contentment is the trick to being happy in this life. Once you're not content with what you have or what you have achieved, you will always be jealous of others and never satisfied of what you have.
