A Possible Pet I Would Love .

Hello everyone, welcome to another edition of the Hive Ghana's prompt, the topic I am picking to write on the today is somehow kinda like a farfetched imaginary kind of thing, but just imagine if it were to be real, okay so read further to know what I'm talking about.

So If I could pet any animal at all in the world, Omo I think I would go for a cub wolf, You know those tiny wolf babies that still look so clueless about life, you know the way they move around, all that their fluffy and unsure ways , that just makes them the perfect mix of wild and so cute, see it is just funny because you know deep down this little creature will grow up to become very fierce, but for now, it is just ,they are this tiny ball of fur that probably thinks the world is one big playground.

Yes, I have seen wolf cubs in pictures and videos, asin, and the first thing that always catches my attention is their beautiful fur, Omo It always looks so soft, like something you can bury your fingers into and just forget about life for a moment, not to mention their little ears, standing tall one second and flopping the next, I mean I imagine petting one would kinda feel warm and also very calming, like holding a tiny piece of the forest in your hands, and those their paws too? Oh, they would be somehow clumsy, probably trying to step on my feet or chew on my shoelaces, but I think that is part of the fun.

I think another reason I would love to pet a cub wolf is because wolves are such fascinating creatures, they are wild, yes, but they also have this deep sense of family and loyalty within their packs, they stick together through everything, So to be trusted enough to get close to a cub, even if it is just for a short moment, would feel like being let into a little secret of nature.

If I ever got the chance, I think I would just sit down on the ground, quietly, and let it come to me, no kind of rushing, no sudden moves, Just letting it sniff around, circle me, and decide if I am friend or foe, in my head, I imagine it finally walking up, tilting its head, and then resting against my leg like, “Alright, human, you are cool.” That’s when I would get my moment to gently run my fingers through its fur.

Of course, I know in reality wolves are not pets at all, they need their space, their wild, their pack, It is not like I can keep one in my house and expect it to play fetch like a dog, But that is what makes the thought of petting one so special , it is rare, it is like having a short, magical moment where you connect with a creature that belongs completely to the wild.

I think if I ever held a cub wolf in my arms, I will probably whisper something like, “Grow strong, little one,” because one day, it is going to be out there in the forest, howling at the moon with the rest of its pack, and I can get to smile, knowing that once upon a time, I felt the softness of its fur, the tiny beat of its heart, and that wild, untamed spirit, all in one touch.
