Not just a skill but passion

Not just a skill, but passion—I call it passion that pays. Hello beautiful people, it is my pleasure to be here again. Question of the week says, "Skills first of all, skills means the ability to perform tasks and activities proficiently, it often acquired through training. Well I didn't train to get mine, it was like a family thing, my mom can braid and so is my two sisters.

some skills are not just skills, some are actually passion, something one does with passion that sometimes ends up bringing food to the table." Normally skills are something someone learned so he or she can have a means of survival, it like a plan B of life. well, mine was the opposite, but I'm grateful. I grew to love doing it.

It didn't end with just a skill; now it's a passion. So I have some time ago shared here on Hive how I ended up as a hair stylist. Even though I never liked it from beginning, salon work is or can be somehow stressful when you're not used to it. Let me share that with you again if you don't mind 🤗. So, while growing up, my mom and two of my older siblings do braids, one of my siblings later had, or should I say, still has a salon. I'm the youngest daughter, so I was forced to always go to the salon to help her out.

These are just a little of what I can do.

Along the line, I begin to love what I was doing, because it comes with some change; the people whose hair I was making then begin to like me, as small as I was then, they always enjoy my work, and sometimes they end up paying me extra money, and some of them won't even make the hair if I'm not around. Oh yes, that was how I was actually loved. Because I was good at what I do.

And these really helped me while in school too, because back then in school, I was making hair for some students and making extra money to help myself. I love making people smile 😊—that kind of smile that comes with being satisfied. I mean, who wouldn't be happy getting what he or she want? Hair making is something I hold firm to my heart, because I got it from a place of love;

my sister loves me, and that is why she makes sure I go into it even when I don't like it. And you know like I said earlier, it was like a family thing, they wanted me to also have that. She knows I could need it in the future, which is true, because even still now, I still make money from doing that. I love braiding, it my passion and calling to make people feel or look beautiful. I didn't really have much pictures of people I braided their hair, I never thought that I could need to use it someday. All pictures are mine. Thank you for reading through.
