The best way to a healthy lifestyle is keeping to hygiene, as the saying health is wealthy. If you are not healthy how then could you be wealthy. So I ask How clean are you? Greetings, beautiful ladies and gentlemen. I'm happy to participate in this week's topic, and I will be talking about hygiene and sanitation.
Let's define hygiene. Hygiene means the practice and principles of health that prevent diseases by maintaining cleanliness. This actually seems simple until it's time to put it into practice. I know these are very important in our life for healthy living, but omo, it's not as easy as it seems. So this is how I maintain my hygiene routine. First I start with my kids, as early as 6am. After cleaning my house, the next thing I do is to give them a very hot bath, because you know kids; as they go to bed, they pee in their diaper.
They need to be refreshed. That is the first thing I do before preparing our breakfast And do you know that my babies are so used to having their bath in the morning that once it is 8am and they are yet to bathe, they actually cry because it is unlike it for them? Washing of hands: I make sure we washed our hands before eating to avoid food poisoning, which is an unseen germs. For my bathroom I have some special slippers for it; we don't use anyhow slippers for it. And I made sure to clean it once a week with hot water. This thing has now become a part of my daily lifestyle.
I make sure to wash our clothes three times a week, as this is also very important, because you know the kids do go out to play with sand, and I can't stand that kind of dirty around me. I know some people wash once a week, which is not bad, but if you have kids, I think once a week could be too much; my thoughts, sha, and cleaning of the kitchen very important, as that is the main place that should be kept clean all the time. Sanitation should not be something that one needs to be told to do, even though there are some people who are very ignorant of it.For sanitation, my husband is in charge of that; we make sure that the environment is clear and safe enough for the kids to play.
You know, one can't stop those little creature from playing; it's part of their growth. There is this positive energy that comes with a clean environment. I don't know if I'm the only one with such thoughts, but the truth is once an environment is clear, I feel safe staying in that kind of environment, but a dirty environment actually makes me sick and unsafe. So what I think people should look out for in a healthy lifestyle is:Washing of hands regularly.Washing of clothes.And regular cleaning of your environment. Thank you for reading through.
