Festival of Love. Christmas stress

Merry Christmas my ghana hive neighbors ❤️❤️❤️. Hope we took out time to enjoy the day with our loved ones.

It is true that very festive season comes with it's own stress but what really stresses me during Christmas is it a general thing or just something that goes on around me? You know I have never thought about this before now. So let's find out together please.

For me as the season approaches I like to stock up the house with food items and decorate the house. Now this time we know the markets are usually very busy and and very crowded one will get exhausted carrying different things even with the help of the load carriers.
Well thinking out loud now I will say it's what happens around me that stress me. You would ask me why I said that this.
Let me explain.
This year I tried out a new business organized food contribution where you pay monthly for some items.

I didn't really set up rules I just felt they were people I knew so it will run smoothly but that wasn't the case. At the beginning of the year everyone was responding you wouldn't even think there will be any issues.The only rule I setup was date for payment to come in and even with that many faulted giving one excuse or the other.
At the 3rd month one person opted out reason was personal so I didn't push wwe continued. One person out of the remaining of us chatted me up that they want the free slot so I didn't mind but send money they kept saying they were expecting something that's how I didn't get any payments and he told me to cover up for him and by next month he will pay me back. That's how I entered financial stress in getting items worth over 100k. And items I would have gotten since October I ended up getting them the day before yesterday and yesterday and you can imagine the cost of good food items had already gone up.
Now I didn't plan for this to turn out this way but if I had put up a concrete rule I wouldn't have found myself in such situations them being close to me or not.

My conclusion on this is for me I caused this stress and I have learnt and set up rules for the coming year contribution not looking for friends to run it with but serious mined people that won't stress me and one of the rules I put together.. if you default payment for a month you are kicked out and refunded.. It won't be business as usual at all.
