HiveGhana Week -66: Life Is Getting Even Tougher .

Hello hiveans and friends of Hive Ghana 🇬🇭. Its been a while, but out if sight is not out of mind because we are family. Wishing everyone here the best of this month of September, especially good health and successful productive❤️.

Sometimes life can be so demanding with work and family, pushing one to loose focus. But the month is new and new strategies is what one is focusing on. And my take in this weeks Hive Ghana weekly engagement is on the second prompt- # LIFE.

It appears 2024 is never a year ushered in with hopes and lots of expectations, a year like other past years that people made resolutions and was able to achieve at least 60% of expectations through and before the years ran off.

This year .2024 is one I could not believe is almost finishing and running into mbers with lots of difficulties here and there. First they said its global feminine, recess, economic restructuring, etc, but as the year went gradually, it became obvious that man is the architect of the suffering of most nations.

My country Nigeria 🇳🇬 is facing lots of difficulties because those we call our leaders has taken laws into their hands. Democracy is no longer a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Democracy is now a government of set of people who takes law into their hands, acting nonchalant, blindly, not minding the consequences of their acts and its end result.

The issue here in my country is not just the case of global famine, but the removal of the fuel ⛽️ subsidy which practically has caused the country lots of suffering due to how every sector of the economy is dependent on fuel/gas to function properly. Everything a country needs to move forward and be able achieve set out goals are all helped by reasonable price of gas and its content availability.

The removal of the said fuel ⛽️ subsidy has affected virtually everything in the country, from movement of people to their various work and business places, the movement of goods from one state to another, the set out goals and objectives of every individual, the worst how prices of both goods and services are decided by the current price of fuel. This is entirely crazy 😜.

Everyday now comes with new challenges since we don’t know what to expect . And life is becoming even tougher especially for the middle class and the poor who has no hope even while we are working harder to meet up, its still appears though the best is not enough.

The quote of Albert Einstein- “That life is like riding a bicycle 🚴, and to keep your balance, you must keep moving “ is now a very difficult one, because its harder to keep balance now. The past few months has been so overwhelming as hope is been questioned. But the old saying “ that tomorrow is greater” is the strength that keeps one going. And as we ushered in this month of September, and with few more in 2024, I keep believing that anything can happen. “Miracle is an event of turning point “.
