The Grand Entrance On Hive Blockchain

Was it really grand? It's not as if I was wearing the costume of the king nor was I a king neither did I have soldiers guarding me, hehehe.
Nevertheless, I'll say it was a grand entrance for me, but why?

It was because unlike many persons that discovered Hive during their other blogging activities and had trouble adapting to the platform, Hive found me (courtesy of my elder brother @kenechukwu97 )

My brother went for his compulsory service (what we call NYSC in Nigeria) at Jos, a state in the Northern part of Nigeria and during his stay over there, he was telling me about a Blockchain platform he was on, but, I was also on another aspect of the Blockchain so I didn't put much interest on his own.*

The major reason was because he told me that unlike mine where I spend money to buy Cryptocurrencies, that he doesn't spend money earning his own.

I was skeptical because I know that from my previous experience, nothing of such nature lasts for long and might as well be another Ponzi scheme with a different approach ( I was wrong, hehehe)

Fast forward to the time he finished and came back home, he was still doing that, amazing. Not that he was just doing that but he was also contributing financially as regards family needs.

But guess what?

I was still not interested; this time around because he told me it was about writing😂

~~The only thing I knew how to write was how to write for my exams, asides that, nothing else even though I'm a good reader~~

Shortly after my third professional examination, I decided to visit him since he relocated and was staying alone ( It was my first time exploring the South-western part of Nigeria.)

When I got there, of course he served me this wonderful food with drinks and guess what was next?

He took his laptop and started that same thing, Hiving again😂

"Local man" just wanted to go watch Chelsea Vs Real Madrid then..... I asked him where the direction of the viewing centre was and dashed out immediately, but, I didn't bother asking him about Hive 😂😂

The next week of my stay, could you imagine? After 7days of staying with a hivian who was dedicated, I didn't pick Interest, but, was jumping from one movie to another, I decided to declare Interest.

It was just few days, I think, two days before I left and he helped me create a profile and guided me through.

Then I was satisfied for the day because I created a profile without any post, lazy me.

The next day, I wanted to make a post and then he told me I would have to make an introduction first... this was March 8, 2022 but I was travelling back to school the next day.

Could you believe I didn't make this introductory post until March 30, 2022.
It took me 24 good days to write that post, ever had a longer time to writing any post 😂?

Shortly after my introductory post, I was replying people that commented on my post and next thing I saw was RC not enough and my reply couldn't go through, hehe.

I complained on Discord but my brother wasn't available then and boom, @stevenson7 delegated to me, shortly after, @dreemsteem delegated to me also, hehehe. And then my brother delegated to me too... I didn't know what HP was then but all I knew was that I could now send my replies and I was happy.

Onboarding, I was expecting to be a member of a fun Community and also to _{make money}

I got Interested and my interest grew stronger from time to time and here I am happy to have achieved whatever I've achieved during the course of my stay on the platform.

I got to meet very wonderful people on the platform including my personal mentor, @merit.ahama .

*No doubt, some moments make you sad especially when you end up with no Upvote on your posts, but then, with the help of my brother, mentor and my best aunt @nkemakonam89 , I got to understand that they are all phases one has to pass, so I've actually been seeing above the rhetorics of just Upvotes, but, having fun while hoping for them to come.

In general, It's been all fun ever after I joined on this platform.

You resembles my sister. She loves to read and write but since she's graduating and leaving home to work in the city, she just brushed off the idea of hive.haha
