Living in the world where the economic condition is not friendly, the best thing is go for anything cheap. Well, it should be of good quality but very affordable. Here in Nigeria, there are so many means of transportation and the one we use most is the road transportation. Also, we have the public and private transportation and Iām one of those who make use of the public transportation a lot because it is way cheaper than the private one.
There is no doubt that public transportation can be a big hassle especially on Monday mornings and Friday evenings. Thatās because a lot of people get back to work on Monday morning and go to their houses on Friday evening and these two periods are known as the rushing time. When trying to board a bus in these two periods, itās always a thug of war. You have to fight and hustle before you can enter the bus and during this time, it can cost you a lot.
Iāve seen cases in which some people lost their phone due to fighting to enter a bus. In that process, some people take that as an opportunity to steal other peopleās belongings but act like they also want to board the bus. Thatās one crazy act of passengers so one has to be very careful.
Also, you never can tell the kind of person youād sit with. Unfortunately, some people have body odor which we all know can be very offensive. Till you get to your destination, you may not be able to breathe well due to the fact that the person sitting beside you is oozing.
Another problem I have with public transportation is that some of them donāt clean their buses and it makes your cloth dirty. Imagine going to a company for an interview for the first time, fully kitted in your white shirt and a trouser. After alighting from the bus which you have entered, you then realized that your cloth is stained. Iām sure you know how painful that can be. Thatās why when Iām going to a very important place, I usually book a ride so that my cloth wonāt get stained and I wonāt even be looking relaxed due to the stress I went through in the public transport.
Do I hate the experience?
I feel the word āhateā has gone too far because if I really hate something, I wonāt even make use of public transport. I donāt really like the experience but itās way cheaper than private ride so Iād continue to go for public transportation till I have the money to buy a car.
Tips for navigating public transportation on my daily ride?
The best thing is to order a ride on private transportation. Itās quite expensive though but if you can afford it, it will be the best because youād also feel comfortable.
We donāt like the experience but we have no option since we donāt enough money to buy carā¦we hope we get to buy our Benz soonš„¹
Yes ooh
How do you know that I love Benz?

You're right, we may not get to the word āhateā, but boy is it coming hahaha, I try to avoid it at all costs, but I am blessed to live close to work. I see that in both countries the experience of traveling by public transportation is terrifying...
Ooh that makes sense
It is actually better
Youāre lucky
You are truly right @rafzat People loose phones and other valuables while struggling for public transportation.
This is why I will never rush a bus instead order uber ride . But this ride ordering can not be at all times.
Cheers .

Modern life often comes with public transport headachesāunpredictable schedules, crowded buses, and that rush-hour stress. In contrast, when I turned to https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/better-trucks/customer-service.html for my logistics needs, their ****customer service was a breath of fresh airāsuper responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. They took the hassle out of coordinating deliveries and made the process feel surprisingly human. For anyone wrestling with transport and delivery frustrations, having a team that actually cares can make all the difference. Iād definitely vouch for Better Trucks if you're looking for smoother logistics with real support behind it.
