Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome š¤
Growing up in the 90s, one Christmas movie I enjoyed very much was "Home Alone." Virtually all television stations aired the movie once it was the Christmas season.
I enjoyed the movie so much that I was always looking forward to December every year. If there was anything I enjoyed about Kevin's character, it was how his stubbornness, which in the beginning seemed to be a negative trait, eventually paid off in the end.
But for his stubbornness and resilience, the burglars would have broken into his parents' home and looted their belongings.
However, I am not here to talk about Home Alone because there are other Christmas movies I have come to like, and one of which is The Princess Switch.
The movie is in three parts, and this delightful romance movie was acted by Vanessa Hudgens as Stacy.
Stacy is a baker from Chicago who was forced by her friend Kelvin and sous chef to contest for a royal Christmas baking contest, so she had to travel to Belgravia, and while she was preparing for the contest, she met with someone who was her identical self, and the both of them were shocked to see each other.
Stacy found out that this doppelgƤnger was a duchess called Margaret. The duchess made a strange request to Stacy; she asked her to please help her experience life as a normal person one last time before she gets married to the crown prince, and Stacy granted her her request, and they both switched places.
The part two of the movie is titled The Princess Switch: Switched Again. The part two picked up where the part one ended. Stay was already married to the crown prince while Duchess Margaret was dating Stacy's friend Kevin.
In this part, Margaret inherited her kingdom, and after that, she and Kevin kept having issues in their relationship, so she needed Stacy's help to rekindle their relationship, but there's a lot of twists here.
Another person that looks identical to Margaret and Stacy was introduced; her name is Fiona, and she happened to be Margaret's cousin. This part was all about how they kept switching roles to help each other.
Then there's a part three called The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star. In this part there's a bit of a difference, as the three lookalikes are faced with a challenge to solve, the theft of a sacred relic, the Star of Peace; this was lent to Stacy and Margaret by the Vatican for the upcoming Christmas festival in Montenaro. So they all have to switch places to solve this mystery.
I don't want to give a spoiler, so I would stop here. The movie generally is a nice movie and family friendly. It's something you can watch with kids around you.
THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END š¤
