Hardwork and Beyond

Work hard they say, do not settle for less, put in your best and you will reap the fruit of your labour. If we are being honest with ourselves, is hard work truly the only key we need to succeed in life?

We often hear that hard work is the key to success. But is it enough on its own? What about luck, connections, or timing? Share your thoughts, do you believe hard work guarantees success, or are there other forces at play?

All our lives we have been told to do our best in everything we do, but nobody prepared us for the other factors that lead to success.

It pays to be hardworking, yeah? But adding other factors to your hard work will make you reach your goal faster.

One of those factors is access to the right information. Information is power. It’s okay to work hard but do you work smartly? Smart work helps get the work done where hard work can’t.

Having access to the right information will help reduce the number of sleepless nights and stress you face. It will help you solve problems faster and easier thereby making the road to success smoother, faster, and easier. Less burnouts, saves time and effort.

Another factor is having the right connection. Knowing the right people at the right time can contribute to you being successful without working “too hard”.

These people can connect you to numerous opportunities. They can advise, teach, and correct you thereby saving you the stress and energy from making common mistakes.

Meeting these people and building meaningful relationships with them is of great importance. While you are at it, ensure your relationship with them is a symbiotic one. This is to help rule out every thought of you being parasitic.

People can do a lot for you but when you also create value for them your relationship with them is strengthened.

Furthermore, perseverance. It’s one thing to work hard but another thing to trust the process and continue. You can’t just decide you’ve worked hard enough and decide to lie back. Perseverance is also part of the formula, the more you persevere the closer you get to your goal.

Most importantly, it is essential to have an unflattering spirit, in other words being tenacious, stoic, and irrepressible will take you far in life. When you have such quality, you are unstoppable, as you will be able to bounce back again and again.

You would also be able to handle rejection and disappointments, as there is no success without setbacks, no one has it easy.

In a world of constant competition, only the strong-willed survives. Hardwork, the right connection, perseverance, and having an unflattering spirit will definitely lead to success faster than you can ever think or imagine.

Over to you guys: Do you believe hard work guarantees success, or are there other forces at play? I’ll love to read your thoughts in the comments.

Being a working person is really a great thing. Although not everyone's thoughts are towards right and good deeds. But we all have to motivate ourselves to work honestly and sincerely and work hard. When I go to talk about the qualities of a person. Then I think I have learned to praise others rather than harm others. But it is the responsibility of all of us to encourage everyone to work hard. We do not want a world of laziness. We want to know more about how to work hard.

I really liked this post, the content you manage in it. You reminded me of a couple friends who don't agree when they talk about "the law of least effort" which she sees as laziness... How not to give your all. While he sees it as a way to optimize work without wearing himself out on it. Something you describe here in a simple and intelligent way. Thanks for sharing. Success in all your projects and many more blessings.

Just like they tell us about education as the key to success. Education alone especially when it's centred on the read and write thing, can not do it, it needs other balances. Same as this hardwork

Absolutely agree! Hard work lays the foundation, but it's the smart work and right mindset that bring lasting success success

You nailed some really strong points here. Hardworking is one factor to be successful but not the only one. There is the place for connecting, networking, access to men and information, resilience, consistency, etc. All these are want contribute to success, not hardworking alone.

Youd need people to show you how to get results, how do achieve what they have already achieved. You'd need money too.
