What It Means When He Says Vengeance is Mine

Hmmmm, let me breathe in first because this one is actually heavy for me😂. Good day everyone hope your weekend is going on perfectly fine, well this is me again and for today I would be participating on the contest topic which says Revenge!!!

So just a recap on what the Bible says about revenge where God says vengeance is mine, let's drop this one here and move on. When I saw they three wonderful topics for this week my eyes got stuck at revenge and I quickly remembered an event that happened when I was still little, I was precisely in primary school by then and I had a neighbor that we attend the same school together, that fateful day she did something to me in school which made me really angry so when we got back from school she entered her house and didn't come out that day to play, so I wanted to pay her back for what she did to me in school, I remembered something that someone said he use to do for people and it works.

I draw a line from her gate to my house, poured some pounded chalk on the line and I did some drawings Infront of her house and did same to mine then I went back home expecting the unexpected to happen, according to the person that told me about it he said when I do that the person it's meant for will be bitten by any poisonous animal. The next day I didn't see her in school and I was wondering if it has worked so when I went home I found out from her sister that she was sick that was why she couldn't come to school that day, in my childish mentality I actually thought what I did was what worked for me do I was so satisfied that atleast she has paid for what she did to me, but looking at it now it actually didn't work and it so funny now remembering it.

It was more like a coincidence, for her to fall sick at that point that I did what I did, thinking about it now I am not proud of what I did then even though it didn't work out but at that point I was satisfied because we were now even, though the person I did what I did for didn't even know I did that up till date.

It was just a fetish stuff that I used as my tool for revenge at that point, when I was still growing up I liked giving back the energy that is been given to me in the sense that I will not rest until I make you feel the same way you made me feel that was bad but while growing up I just grew out of that, maybe I became more wiser than that or I just out naturally grew of that habit, nowadays I might just get angry and not talk at that moment but my philosophy on revenge is that what is meant to be will be, God will avenge for me.
