Good day beautiful ladies and gentle men, welcome back to another section and to the end of the week, I would be participating on a lovely topic which says giving back. I ran through all the topic and I resonated well with one and I would be sharing with us a little story of what happened to some one which I had to help.
I noticed this girl in my department still behaving naive and all that, she was pretty but hardly dressed fine because to me she always dressed scattered, she made one guy her friend and I thought it was not healthy for her because they way she was taking the friendship it was turning in to some thing else, I thought of ways to help this young girl who do not know her steps and I the thought of getting closer to her dropped in, I started by inviting her to our study group which I thought would help her direct her focus educational and it worked she accepted to come.
After attending her first class with us she was so grateful to me according to her that was what she needs, but I still did not stop there I pushed further I started engaging her in conversation and I discovered that she is 16 years old just finishing secondary school last year, and that was what cleared all those questions in my head, her naiveness answered it all, her being attached to just any boy in the class and all over the person answered it, her lack of direction and purpose was justified. And I told her that I noticed other people talking about what she wore so I wanted her to look different on a particular Monday so during the weekend I left my house to the hostel where she stayed in order to help her pick an outfit, we ran through all her cloth and I discovered that most of them were looking like mother's cloth plus obviously not her size, so I fixed her on a simple dress from her wardrobe which was okay to me, I told her to dust her shoes and not always wear them dusty, I told her to pack her hair well and not just wear any cap to cover it.
After I was done fixing her clothes we sat down on her bed and we talked about varieties of things, we talked about family, talked about friends we left behind, we talked about our personalities, all I was doing was to make her open to me so I could enter then I asked her if she has ever dated and she said she had a crush on a guy in secondary school but it never worked out because the guy who had liked her at first was still liking other of her friends which left her heartbroken, so I went further to ask if she likes any one in our department and she said she liked our course representative but he in person has not said any thing to her yet so I used that opportunity to talk to her.
That stage of talking was not just for a day I made sure I explained to her how fragile we are and how we need to prioritize ourselves, I told her that she is enough and does not need to have a boyfriend at this tender age to validity that, currently now she is doing well and has improved to been a better person. That was it for me I was satisfied that my smallest act brought joy and positivity to some one, even though I helped her in some areas where she needed help materially but the redemption of her soul mattered alot to me, I was glad that I lend a helping hand to some one, that I offer kind words and all of that.
I have learnt so far that giving back does not necessarily mean giving gifts or money but other things that money can not buy so I am going all out to lend a helping hand to those who need it as my act of giving back.

Great story, @graceze. I love your way of helping another person with so much care and understanding. It's really inspiring. It reminds us that small things, such as support, conversation, and care, are often the most valuable form of giving.
Thanks for sharing your story with us :D
Thank you so much Sir for reading
That's a wonderful act from you towards that girl in your department, in truth giving isn't all about materials things alone, it's in the small act of friendship, quality time and the likes.
