Relationship Reality Check, What's Your Take?

I almost didn't want to go for this contest topic but after sourcing for points to write on the other one I was left with no choice than to crawl back here because Truth be told this 50/50 in relationships is a very sensitive and deep discussion which is why I would start by saying all my discussion today is according to my knowledge and probably what I expected in any relationship I would be in.

While taking a second look at this topic 50/50 I couldn't help but also see it in this aspect, that it also involves the sharing in efforts been put to build that relationship, equal sharing of emotions, also the equal sharing of responsibilities and equal contribution too financially, this simply implies that between the both partners nobody's contribution or sharing should outweigh the other person, also meaning that the affection and love between the both of them should be equal and so on.

But truth be told it's hard to see relationship like this nowadays, let's keep away the aspect of equal contribution financial first and weigh the rest, in this our country where we see a guy loving the girl and doing anything for her to stay in the relationship or where we will see the girl so in love with the guy that she slaves away just for him to marry her, or situations where the both of them love each other but the guy is nonchalant to the relationship that he prioritize every other things and the girl is now the one putting efforts to build connections in the relationship, we have many instances where this 50/50 doesn't apply because it's a relationship not a business deal where you strike cuts.

For me I think relationship should be focused more on genuine love, respect, fairness, support and balance rather than this idea of equality all round, who pays the bills should be a mutual understanding from both parties according to their financial capability that's why both partners are there to support each other, one person money alone is not for spending.
