When love doesn't make sense

source

Love is one of those topics that can easily leave you wondering if anybody really understands it. We hear people describe it as beautiful, but at the same time, they call it blind. And that always makes me pause, how do you admire the beauty of something you can’t even see? Maybe that’s why love keeps so many people confused, because it is not something you can measure or fully explain.

As a lady, I have had my fair share of relationships, and to be honest, not every one of them could be called “love.” Sometimes it was just companionship, sometimes it was simply me not wanting to be alone. But along the way, there were moments where I thought to myself, Yes, maybe this is what people mean when they talk about love. It’s a feeling that goes beyond butterflies or late-night conversations. It’s deeper, and it makes you see someone in a different light.

I think what makes love complicated is the fact that it doesn’t always end the way we hope. You can care so much for someone, pour your energy into the relationship, and still find yourself at a point where you must let go. Not because the love wasn’t real, but because sometimes love is not enough to hold everything together. That’s one of the hardest lessons I have learned.

There was a time I felt love in a way I had never experienced before. It was strong, genuine, and it made me happy in a way nothing else did. With him, I saw love as something beautiful, something that made sense. Sadly, it didn’t last. We didn’t fight, and there was no bad blood between us. Life simply pulled us in different directions, and the relationship ended quietly. He was called Comfort, and even though I don’t like going into too many details, I can say he left a mark on me. To this day, I still think of him with respect and care, even though we are no longer together.

What that experience taught me is that love can be both a gift and a lesson. It’s not always about forever, and it doesn’t always follow the stories we see in movies. Sometimes love comes into your life for a short time, just to teach you something about yourself, how deep you can care, how much you can give, or even how strong you can be when it doesn’t work out.

So when people ask, Have you ever been in love? my answer is yes. Love for me has been both beautiful and confusing, and sometimes painful. But despite the heartbreak, I wouldn’t say I regret it. Because even in its blindness, love opens your heart in a way nothing else can. And maybe that’s why people still chase it, even when they don’t fully understand it.

I like your perspective of love! Save here, the first time I experienced love, I was genuine but I don't want to experience such again till I I recover.

The meaning of love is difficult to explain. Because of love, there can be wars, and because of love, there can be peace. The love you have experienced is truly magnificent. That love is so powerful.
