Thank you HiveGhana for bringing this topic up for discussion, indeed it is great avenue to express some things one can't possibly discuss on a norm.
Before elaborating on the topic "my guilty pleasure",it is important to understand what guilty pleasure is; Guilty pleasure are things one likes or enjoy to do,but yet not confident or proud of them.
Here is a short piece on my guilty pleasures, specifically focusing on food, hobbies, and a bit on sacrifices.
I can confidently say that everyone has one or more guilty pleasure because there are alot of things that we do in hidden even though we don't know they are guilty pleasures. For some, it may be stealing for survival, picking meats from pot of soup, for others, a lifestyle they flock to when no one's watching. These involvement give color to our lives, despite the occasional feelings of guilt that may occur occasionally.
Some of the key areas I will dwell on in relative to the topic given includes
- Food : Food is one of the most common and reoccurring guilty pleasures I find myself doing. Whether it's a crisp, oily bit of meat from the fridge, having a box of cookies in the wee hours of the night, or even taking a sip of fruit juice on my way to get something else, the most annoying one is eating while lying down or even stand which is well know to be a bad table manner but yet derives pleasure in doing it.
Guilty pleasure isn't only confined to food, it creeps into our leisure and pastimes as well. *Hobbies: *Hobbies in the context of guilty pleasure,I remember when I was forced to learn a trade,I felt bad because apprentice are know to always suffering in the workplace due to torture and circumstances but I feels joy knowing i will learn some new things and probably earn little cash in the process, another important aspect involves the much attention myself and a lot of youths this day gives to unnecessary things which may do more harm than good but still yet derives sweet pleasure in doing them.
However, guilty pleasures often require *sacrifices. You might have to wake up early for a daily workout routine in which I long to keep fit but then the pains that follows after the workout is something else I would also like to balance out my cravings for food or lose sleep to finish a series or even novel, other guilty pleasure i find myself doing is going out of my will(making sacrifices that might hurt me directly)just to please and put a smile on peoples face. These sacrifices justify the "guilty" in "guilty pleasures," turning indulgence into a balancing act between gratification and responsibility. After all, guilty pleasures are not necessarily bad but need to be enjoyed responsibly.
In conclusion, it's undeniable that guilty pleasures, regardless if they revolve around food, hobbies, sacrifices or a combination of both or any of them, are an inevitable part of our lives. Guilty pleasures put a delightful twist to our otherwise monotonous existence, giving us the little bumps of joy that we admit to craving. They help us understand that guilt does not always
lead to regret but can sometimes open the gateway to happiness. They teach us that it's okay to make sacrifices to obtain what truly satisfies us and that it's okay to admit to the small joys hidden in our daily routine. The important part is to remember moderation and personal happiness.
So, let’s embrace our guilty pleasures, the food we love, the hobbies we enjoy, and yes, even the little sacrifices in between. Because life should not only be about duty and responsibility, it should also be about pleasure and happiness. Guilty or not, your overall happiness first.
Admitting to craving, They help us understand that guilt does not always lead to regret but can sometimes open the gateway to happiness. The important part is to remember moderation and personal happiness, guilt firmly checked at the door.
Below are few things that leads to guilty pleasures:
- Depression
- Anger
- Loneliness
- Pride
- Jealousy,and
6.Greed
Thanks for your audience,I hope you find this piece useful
Hello duza, looks like your markdowns were applied wrongly so they did not come out well. If you are trying to use bold you need two asterisks (**) before and after the word instead of one.
We also recommend that you put your writings in paragraphs to make it easy for readers.
We also don’t get how the picture of a woman holding a pregnancy test kit relate to your post in anyway. It’s really important to use pictures that relate to what you’re saying.
Ok thank you for the observations
It's well enough that everyone has one or two guilty pleasure some of them which we need to work on anyway... The first step is identifying them I guess
