EASTER HOLIDAYS AND MARCH RECAP

A little recap of my march experience and how I spent the Easter holidays.
It all started like this….

I sat down, sipping from a bottle of chilled pepsi beside me, as I took a trip down memory lane, reflecting on the good, the fun, and the unexpected experiences that March had gifted me with.

Come with me!

The month started just as any other. With my usual work and fitness goals to attain. However, the further we moved into March, the better it got. I noticed I started to develop a new-found interest in gardening. Starting my mornings after my usual bread and pap beakfast(still can’t figure out why I love taking this combo every morning….lol) with a stroll in my backyard, tenderly caring for the flowers and little plants, and watching new buds sprout became a habit. The joy the first blossom brought was a great thrill for my young gardening heart.

It didn’t stop at just nurturing plants; it was also about adopting a new fitness routine. Each evening, I traded my pencil skirts for sweat pants and traded the corporate calls for crunches. Even though my muscles were sore, the energy I felt afterward kept me going. Who knew getting fit could be so much fun!

The cherry on top of this adventurous March cake was Easter's beautiful layer. This Easter, I decided to celebrate it in a uniquely fun and yet comfortingly familiar style – a ‘Holi-stay.’ You got it! I was home all through, my home was the perfect vacation spot! The preparations began a week prior. Baking became my middle name. Friends and family sat on the edge of their screens each day, eagerly awaiting my new recipe – a daily LIVE Bake-Along session.

The Easter weekend arrived, presenting the perfectly arranged community Easter egg hunt - a socially distanced version. Adorned in bunny ears and armed with hand sanitizers, we embarked on our egg-stravagant adventure. The joy of the hunt and the giggles that ensued made the holiday incredibly fun-filled.

Finally, it was Easter Sunday, and what an egg-citing delight that was! After a delicious family breakfast(not bread and pap this time…lol), the much-anticipated time came; the LIVE Bake-Along Easter special. Excited and nervous, I set up my kitchen for the grand Easter cake. As we matched our steps, even miles apart, the sense of community and togetherness warmed my heart.

Reflecting on March and the Easter celebration, I could not have asked for a more eventful and enjoyable time. Amid everyday chaos, these moments of laughter, community, and a bit of cake batter everywhere have been the highlights.

March, was about growth, laughter, trial, and error, and a lot of love. Whether it was over a freshly bloomed flower, a newfound fitness routine, or over a slice of the Easter cake, we loved, laughed, and grew.

Here's to welcoming April with a heart full of joy and a mind full of beautiful March memories! The Easter celebration just concluded, but the delight it brought continues to amusingly hop around.

Thanks for Reading
