No place like home
Many people from my country are looking for the opportunity to leave and find greener pastures elsewhere; some were able to achieve this, some were lucky to make it, while it was a different story for others.

I am no longer surprised or wonder why Nigerians want to leave the country, the economy is bad and worse for people who work offline in small companies and factories because their wages and salaries are meagre and not enough to take care of their bills, not to mention savings.
It is better to work as a slave abroad and live like a king in your country than to work like a slave in your country and still eat like a slave; that is how bad it is, so I do not blame those who do not have a good job and want to leave the country.
A cleaner here in Nigeria would get around 20k to 40k Naira as a salary for a month. From what I've heard about some countries, they can earn more than 1 million Naira monthly in another country. No matter how expensive the country is, they would still be able to save some money in their bank account if they spend wisely. So, I don't think anyone would want to miss such an opportunity.
If I were given a huge amount of money and asked to choose either relocating to another country or staying in my country, I would choose the latter.
I choose the devil I know; it is not always greener anywhere. Every country has its own problems; the main thing is we should learn to survive wherever we are, and I have mastered that here in Nigeria.

I know the safest area, I know the forbidden area, and the dos and don'ts to stay alive...
If I have enough money, I can build an apartment for me and my family in the safest area in my country, and also run multiple businesses to double and triple the huge amount given to me... Money is the reason why many choose to relocate, and if I have got that, I do not want to relocate.
When I hear about people selling their properties worth millions of Naira to relocate to another country, I feel they didn't make the right decision, and most times, such a thought is implanted in them by their wives, who end up betraying them when they get abroad because power is given to the women there.
I have no plans of relocating to another country permanently at the moment, but there is a saying that people can change, I never can tell if situations or money can change my mind in the nearest future but right now, I am so sure I don't want to relocate nor am I interested in leaving my country at the moment.
In the end, home is where the family is, and I choose to be where my family would be happy, cos in their happiness lies mine.

I’m not discouraging people who are traveling to make money but some spend about #20m on educational trip when I can use it to start a good business here

we have the same mentality... The only thing that would make me travel out is if i don't have money or good work to survive in my country, but if i have that, no point in travelling abroad to work.
Interesting take! The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Sometimes, you encounter more problems living in a foreign country where you have less control to navigate your way around them, too. I think it's not always or solely about the money if I have to decide to live in a foreign country or stay in my home country. There are other factors to consider, such as where are all my loved ones at? Why move to another country where I'll be very lonely even though I'm making a relatively lot of money?
