Currently am in college, but then i remember a few years ago i was in primary school then high school and now am here a post graduate, not sad but then what have i learnt all through my time in school, has it really impacted me?I grew in a community where it is believed that a child must go through the process of schooling if he/she must be wise and knowledgeable,is this actually true?
Well,i answer based on my experience, schooling doesn't make one wise ,it makes you brilliant , there's a possibility you'll be brilliant yet foolish .Schooling impacts us with a lot of knowledge but yet not everything,if one must be productive then he/she must fall back to his/her natural instincts. I'll say this blankly, schooling programs our minds to think in a certain direction, every child in school today thinks after he/she finishes school, they'd become a career person and start earning, the system has limited our minds from thinking out of the box,we now think within the parameters of what they teach us, this has made us limited to their teachings, with all the sciences ,arts and commerce thought in school,i think more teaching outside the parameters of education should be thought, teachings on potentials, spirituality, purpose and so on.
I mean all this are neglected in schools, proper morals and standard of lifes aren't taught and so in the world today we have educated wizards, persons who are educated but with evil minds cause the bed rock if moral and proper spiritual values was neglected, I'm not saying it's wrong to be educated but let's strike a balance, education is not all to a man's life, we literally spend at least the first twenty five years if our lives schooling with the initial first ten years programmed into believing a trap.
The idea of making a living out of education is a trap,it limits potentials, I'm really enjoying yhis topic. You live on salary, from the knowledge you spent approximately twenty five years learning, how'd you ever be financially free.Having unique skills gives us a better advantage at earning and yet we aren't taught this in schools, everyone has something unique to bring to the table, you just have to look inside and yet the system doesn't give us an opportunity to do so.
Sometimes the worst habits in a person could be learnt from a schooling system,am speaking from experience,i attended high school in a boarding house,i knew the good habits that i took from home there and they left me likewise the terrible habits i took from school to home, my mom would notice and say i didn't teach you this, yes she didn't but i learnt in school all so i could probably survive but then it turns a habit, it's said once a mistake, twice a habit and boom its part of you.
On my end,the schooling system is doing well but not enough, better can be done, with better administration right values can be laid in the mind of billions out there, potentials revealed, the world will definitely be a better place.
We spend years chasing the specter of ‘knowledge’ through textbooks and exams, only to realize, too late, that the real lessons clung to us in the quiet moments.
School teaches us calculus and grammar, but rarely how to measure our growth. Here’s what I’ve realized:
The classrooms? They gave you frameworks, but the wisdom came from the moments in between. The group projects that taught you diplomacy, the failures that built resilience, and the random library book that shifted your perspective.
My cousin in Lagos runs a community center using just WhatsApp and Facebook videos (downloaded via tools like Fload, actually!) to teach kids coding. No fancy degree—just resourcefulness and heart. That’s the secret: Schooling gives you tools, but learning happens when you decide what to build with them.

So absolute
I can just imagine you doing something out of the ordinary and your mom saying she didn’t teach you that. You are right. There things we threw away in school just to be able to survive and for me, I don’t even want to remember mine.
For real, there were instances where she's even pissed
