True happiness
Knowing the world we live in now, money is everything. Without money, almost nothing is possible. But I'm sure there are still some people that believe money doesn't buy everything. They say money doesn't buy happiness or love, while I know it cant buy feelings, money can still buy things that make us feel that way.
Although there are times when money doesn't talk, but 99% of the time, money rules. My mom had a friend in our former neighborhood, he was a calm and collected guy. He would always say that money cant buy him happiness. He didn't work too hard, he just worked to get enough to let him live peacefully. It was going well for him until he saw a beautiful girl in our house. He surely fell in love at first sight as he quickly came to my mom to ask for some information on the girl because she was our next door neighbor. After mustering courage, he asked the girl out and she accepted. He came back to my mom to share his testimony, saying that money couldn't possibly give him the happiness he was feeling that day.
After a few months, she moved in with him and I think that was when things started to change for the man. Without even adding women clothes and skincare products, this man barely add enough to feed both of them. He started to do different types of work to feed both of them. I once visited them once to collect something from the man when I saw the lady packing. I initially thought they were moving to another house but I was totally wrong. She was already tired of suffering, she might have loved him, but without the money to take care of her, I don't think most women will remain with that type of man. After breaking up, the man started abusing women that they are all liars and gold diggers. Maybe if he had only made more money, his happiness might have lasted a lot longer.
When I was younger too, I used to think that money wasn't that over powered, I mean, how will coins and paper be able to buy everything but, I might be old enough to know just how much power money holds. You might get happy without money but ain't no way it is gonna last. If I was gifted a car, I would be really happy, but without the money to take care of it or to buy gas to it, the happiness will be short lived. I believe the question shouldn't be "Will it buy happiness?" it should be "how much will". I believe that true happiness is not just being happy, it is being happy without having to worry about getting sad in the future. While money can't buy happiness directly, it will buy things that make you happy and can also make them last.
Money talks all the time oo, the only time I feel money cannot talk is when one has a dreaded disease to deal with.
Money is actually very important but then you still need to fulfill something or have somethings in life for you to be truly happy.

Money 💰 I think is a compulsory thing one should have in order to keep what ever he's doing running smoothly.
Looking at your neighbors story, I can relate some information that probably the man was thinking 🤔 everyone person perspectives will match his, unknowingly to him that it doesn't works that way, mostly when it comes to women, what they want must be given else pleasure starts fading.
