Embracing Words and Connections: A Journey of Expression

Greetings, dear readers and fellow bloggers!

I am thrilled to welcome you to space on Hive. It will be a digital haven where I use words to express emotions, share ideas and forge connections. My name is Gracious Egedegbe, also known as "southchurchguy". I am a storyteller, dream weaver, and firm believer in the power of words. Allow me to introduce myself and offer a glimpse into my world.

I hail from the charming South-South region of Nigeria, and my passion for storytelling has been with me from birth. I have faced challenges and triumphs that have sculpted me into the person I am today, with grand aspirations driven by unyielding determination.

By day, I am a dedicated English Language teacher, where I help children discover their potential and find happiness. I am also a religious person (hence the "church" in my username)

As the day pulls the night out of its picket (A line in Passenger's song titled 'Life's for the Living'), I become reflective. I share my thoughts and imagination in poems, short stories and essays. Sometimes I blend the two.

I am quite excited about meeting people, and Hive affords me such an opportunity.

So, why did I start this blogging journey? It was a leap of courage inspired by a fellow soul (@merit.ahama) who introduced me to the Hive platform.

Here's what I will be doing on Hive

Mondays - Blockchain talks: I will be sharing insights on finance and blockchain-related topics

Wednesday - Reelections: I will be sharing thoughts on life generally

Friday - Creativity: If I have poems or stories to share, I will be publishing them on Friday.

Sunday - Christian meditation : I am a preacher. So On Sundays, I will be sharing thoughts and lessons from the Bible.

Of course, I will be posting on other days. I plan to join writing communities and participate in writing competitions. this is just an outline of what I plan to do
