The mirror principle tells us that life is like an Image and its reflection. We can't change the reflection if we don't change the image, it's as simple as that. The image is our mind, the reflection is our life, to change our life, we must first change the mind's core beliefs.
If our cloth is stained, we can't keep scrubbing the mirror which is the reflection hoping to solve the problem, rather we would clean the stain on the image then the reflection would no longer hold it. If we can change our mind, what we experience in life changes drastically.
Our mind is the power room that lights up every other area of our life that we see. We can do nothing or just little if we don't address the subject- which is our mind. We struggle more trying to change our life without addressing the mind where our beliefs sit. To change our mind, we must first understand our make-up and how the mind works. Our mind is divided into the conscious, the subconscious and the phase where possibilities dwell.

In our conscious mind, we see everything (that is life). It's the place of reflection of what the mind places. Its duty is to pledge allegiance to what the mind offers, and that's why people who have certain beliefs hardly change no matter what they hear. Their mind is made up with ideas that the conscious mind has seen them as reality.
The subconscious is the mind, it's made up of our core beliefs. What we read, hear, was taught etc. it's the part that has been programmed since birth, and this is why early programming is very essential in a child's life. The subconscious is what stands between our reality and possibilities. Whatever the subconscious learns, it passes to reality. To change our conscious mind, which is our life, we must change the subconscious where our beliefs dwell.
The final part is the place of possibilities. Here everything is possible. It's that part of us that believes everything is possible and waves off impossibilities and doubts. But it can't transmit its energy directly to the conscious, it relies wholly on the subconscious and if the subconscious is not transformed, our life remains the same. So first we'll need to deal with our core beliefs and perspectives in our subconscious, which is the mind to have the reflection we desire. To reflect differently, we'll first change the image before the mirror.
