Today is Labor Day in the Philippines. Taking advantage of this holiday, the school decided to have a company outing in Tanay, Rizal.

May 1st is also HIVE power-up day. I sent my eldest son's account 22 plus HIVE to join this monthly event.

In my case, I chose a different direction starting today. This will affect the growth of my account, especially my Hive Engine tokens. For more than a month now, I have been monitoring the increase in my token accumulation. However, as a result of my wife's visit and a conversation with my youngest son a week ago, I decided to do a token study for seven months to explore the potential of how Hive Engine tokens can provide funds for house renovation. By the end of the year, if this study succeeds, I will have a story to tell my friends that investing time on Hive is not a waste. Just like what happened in Pi Network, perhaps when they see tangible outcomes coming from cryptocurrency, that's the time their curiosity will turn into action, exploring what Hive is.

Status of Our Accounts

To track my progress, I have to start with tables showing the current status of my family's accounts:

The tokens in the above tables are not exhaustive. We own more tokens than what is shown in the tables. However, the above tokens are selected due to substantial stakes that I think are capable of generating the expected funds for house renovation. The target is 50k PHP by the end of the year.

Only three tokens are exempted in this study: AC20221's CENT, MEME, and PEPE.

I decided to continue accumulating CENT in AC2021's account because that account is not so active. My wife is so busy that she could not publish her painting and mountain climbing activities, and that is why I decided to focus on two tokens: CENT and POB.

I also did not include MEME in this study because of the ongoing curation activity led by KB's account. And besides, the MEME holdings of the account are still very small.

The same thing with PEPE. The token's price is too low, and AC9 owns less than 1M, which I think could not help in contributing a substantial amount to the expected fund.

The Plan

God willing, starting today until December 31, 2025, all HIVE engine tokens in the five accounts above, except for MEME, PEPE, and AC2021's CENT, will be swapped for HIVE at the end of the month.

As already mentioned, the duration of this plan is seven months to explore the possibility of how Hive Engine tokens can generate funds for house renovation.

The selling of Hive Engine tokens will be done at the end of the month to determine the value in terms of HIVE.

The price fluctuation of both HIVE and HBD will determine whether the accounts will hold either liquid HIVE or saved HBD that will earn 15% APR.

By the end of 2025, all HIVE and HBD will be sold for USDT and will be used for house renovation. This will end the seven-month project and will resume the previous staking activity to achieve the original token targets.
