Reflecting On My Uncle's Name "Something More"

When I was a kid, back then, I was still staying with my uncle in the village, he had a name that sounded a little bit strange and long to me, though we'd been using the name to joke but as I kept growing, I came to understand what it really meant and the significant of the name.

His name is "Something More", he has remained my favorite uncle till date because of how civilized he is. But let's leave his personality and focus more on the name, last week, I kept pondering on that name and I realized it meant more than just a name, it is the reality of life.

In life, the different struggles in life has caused a lot of people including me and you to give up at some point, the frustration that life itself has mated on us can be so draining but then there is Something More. Yes, I will say it again, there is something more to live for and you just have to keep push

Some times we hurt people and don't even feel its okay to apologize but sincerely speaking, there is Something More. I have seen situations where privileged people think the less privileged are nothing but rags, so they could step on them any day and anytime they wish to without thinking twice, but then, life is more than that, the seat you are occupying today, someone else had already sat there and tomorrow, it will be another's turn, life has Something More.

Life is far beyond the present stage we are, the opportunities we enjoy today is not to be compared to what others will enjoy tomorrow, nobody's a monopoly of authority, let's not just live life for the present, let's have in mind that there is always a tomorrow to live for.

Life could really be tough but then, let's not loose hope that tomorrow's pregnant and can deliver anything worthwhile. Do not just live for today, have a sight of tomorrow in mind and be sure to live up to it, do not let the your present position give you an ego to suppress others tomorrow.

Thanks for dropping by 💕
