In this post I'll talk about the Wave Brood card in Splinterlands; it has the Taunt ability and it's one of my favorites in the game.
Before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony.

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
I'm playing 3 games on Arcade Colony and they are:
There's also the game Genesis League Goals on Arcade Colony, but I don't have any investment in that game.
My main focus is on Splinterlands and Moon Karts because in my opinion they are the most fun and profitable games.
Remember that this is not an investment tip.
Let's continue talking about Splinterlands and the Wave Brood card.

Wave Brood is a card that doesn't stand out much when it comes to damage and attack speed, but it has great abilities.
Even without much attack or attack speed, Wave Brood has a lot of health, so it's a great Tank card.
Let's see what Wave Brood's abilities are.

Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position.

Can use ranged attacks from the first position.

50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

Returns 50% of damage to the attacker (rounded up) when hit by a ranged attack.
My strategy for the Wave Brood card focuses on its Taunt ability; let's see how it works on the battlefield.

Since Wave Brood will be the main target of attacks because of its Taunt ability, I select it in the last position and combine it with cards that have the Triage ability, so it will receive healing and survive longer in battle.
This was a long but very exciting battle to watch, and in it I can show how a well-thought-out strategy makes a big difference on the battlefield in Splinterlands.
