Showing the Yaba's Pickle Card at Maximum Level on the Battlefield

In this post you will learn about the Yaba's Pickle card; it's a great ally for defending in battles with low mana available.

Before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, let's learn a little about Arcade Colony.

Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

I'm playing 3 games on Arcade Colony and they are:

• Splinterlands
• Moon Karts
• StakeHouse Den

There's also the game Genesis League Goals, but I don't have any investment in that game.

The games I like the most are Splinterlands and Moon Karts because, in my opinion, they are the most fun and profitable.

Let's continue talking about the Yaba's Pickle card in Splinterlands.

This is Yaba's Pickle, a promotional card from the Conclave Arcana edition that currently costs $0.17 on the market. Yaba's Pickle doesn't seem like a very useful card, but with the right strategy and knowing its abilities, it becomes an incredible card.

Weapon Training

Gives attack type and power to adjacent non-attack units (max of 3 power).

This is the ability that will transform Yaba's Pickle into a more useful card in battle.

Yaba's Pickle has 4 abilities, let's get to know them.

Dodge

+25% chance to evade physical attacks.

Shield

50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power.

Slow

-1 speed to all enemy units.

Heal

Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down).

Combining these abilities with Weapon Training, Yaba's Pickle is a powerful ally for battles with low mana because it only costs 4 mana to use in battle.

I don't have Yaba's Pickle at maximum level yet, so I use Practice Mode to test the cards I don't have.

This is the configuration I use in Practice Mode to test the cards.

BATTLE

This is a great example of a battle where Yaba's Pickle is an excellent choice, especially in battles where available mana is low.

My opponent didn't use a good combination of cards in the battle, but even if they were different cards, it wouldn't have been an easy battle for him, and I would probably have been victorious with my cards.
