It wasn't long ago that I started playing Moon Karts, and if you've been following my posts, you'll know my journey so far in the game. It's short, but I try to explain every step of the way in detail.
If you're interested in learning how to get started in Moon Karts, I have two posts that will be perfect for you.
In these two posts, I explain in detail the main points for getting started in the game. In them, you'll find an average budget for starting the game.
In my posts, I like to talk about Arcade Colony, the gaming platform where I discovered Moon Karts. So, before I continue talking about Moon Karts, I'll write a brief summary of what Arcade Colony is.
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Gamestore, Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 games.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
Since I mentioned the Arcade Colony Whitepaper, I also recommend you read the Moon Karts Whitepapper.
I try to provide as much detail as possible in my posts, but the Whitepaper has all the information about the game, so it's essential if you want to start playing Moon Karts, and especially if you're going to invest in it.
In Moon Karts, I already have my kart, all the necessary equipment, and fuel, which means I can start racing and receive rewards.
As I mentioned in my last post about Moon Karts, I have two Gold Foil cards in stake generating fuel for me. My current production is 21 Fuel per day, and my current cost per race is 7.7 Fuel.
I've already made all the preparations, so I'm going to start my first race in Moon Karts.
Remember, I only made a minimal investment in the game, so my rewards will be small. My goal is simply to learn more about how the game works and have a basic understanding of the rewards.
An important detail is that the rewards are based on the amount of COLONY tokens you have in stake, and I currently have 5,000 COLONY tokens in stake.
After just one race, I already realized that I need to improve my skills a lot. The mechanics aren't difficult, but I wasn't familiar with the track, so I crashed several times while taking the turns.
These were the rewards I received in my first race, and considering my total investment in the game so far, I found it a great return on my investment and I also had a lot of fun playing.
The amount I won in this race was 0.61 COLONY and not 61 COLONY.
This is my current Leaderboard rank, and with these rewards, I'll recoup my investment even faster.
My strategy is to use this season as a test to calculate my in-game earnings, and after that, I'll decide on new investments to improve my kart's performance and increase my earnings.
There are 7 days left until the season ends, and during that time, I'll show you my earnings and my final season earnings.
