Showing How to Buy and Open Packs in Splinterlands
In this post I'll show you how to buy and open packs in Splinterlands.
Before continuing with Splinterlands, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

There's also the game Genesis League Goals on Arcade Colony, but I haven't invested in it yet.
My main focus is on Splinterlands and Moon Karts because, in my opinion, they are the most fun and profitable.

To buy packs in Splinterlands there are 2 options:
Buy the packs in Splinterlands.
Buy the packs in the Hive Engine.
Let's start by taking a look at how to buy packs in Splinterlands.
Splinterlands
To buy packs in Splinterlands you need to go to the SHOP option and then to Card Packs.
In the Card Packs option you will find 10 different packs to buy and you can choose to pay with Credits or DEC.
I will use the Chaos Pack as an example, it costs 541 DEC which is equivalent to $0.31.
Let's take a look at the Hive Engine
Hive Engine
In the Hive Engine, I'll use the Chaos Legion Pack as an example as well. There, the pack costs 2.89 Swap.Hive, which is equivalent to $0.28. So, in the Hive Engine, the price of the Chaos Legion is cheaper.
Always check the Hive Engine and Splinterlands when buying packs; sometimes it's cheaper in Splinterlands and sometimes it's cheaper in the Hive Engine.
I'll show you the codes you'll use to find the packs in the Hive Engine.
CHAOS = Chaos Legion Pack.
REBELLION = Rebellion Pack.
ALPHA = Alpha Pack.
BETA = Beta Pack.
SLDICE = Azmare Dice Pack.
ORB = Essence Orbs Pack.
RIFT = Riftwatchers Pack.
UNTAMED = Untamed Pack.
ARCANA = Conclave Arcana Starter Pack.
ARCANAL = Conclave Arcana Legendary Pack.
ARCANAA - Conclave Arcana Alchemy Pack.
After purchasing the packs, you will need to open them.
Go to the OPEN option and you will find all the packs available to open.
You can open the packs one at a time or several at once.
To increase your chances of getting Legendary and Gold Foil cards, use Legendary Potions and Alchemy Potions.
Legendary Potions increase the chances of getting Legendary cards in the packs.
Alchemy Potions increase the chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
