It's been over a month since I discovered Stakehouse Den on the Arcade Colony platform. My only investment in the game was opening packs and staking cards to earn Hot Sauce.
Hot Sauce is essential in Stakehouse Den, and you can read more about it in the game Whitepapper.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I discovered Stakehouse Den on the Arcade Colony platform, and if you're not familiar with this platform, I'll tell you a little about it.
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Gamestore, Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 games.
If you're interested in creating an account on the platform, in my post: Showing the Arcade Colony Platform, I explain how to create an account and also explain a little about each of the games it currently offers.
You can also find several posts on my blog talking about the games available on Arcade Colony.
To answer questions, Arcade Colony has a Discord.
As I write this post, I have 251.82 Hot Sauce in my Stakehouse Den account, which is more than enough to test the game and start developing new investments so I can turn it into something profitable.
Keep in mind that my knowledge of Stakehouse Den is limited, so this isn't an investment tip.
On Stakehouse Den, there are three games for you to spend your Hot Sauce on: Slots, Blackjack, and Roulette.
If you click on the names of the games I mentioned in the text above, you'll be directed to the Whitepaper page that explains how they work.
Today I decided to try Slots because it's one of the games that catches my attention the most in a casino and because it's simple.
To play Slots, I just need to choose the amount of Hot Sauce and confirm the bet.
I'll try betting 10 Hot Sauce and see if I'm lucky.
On my first attempt at Slots, I won 0.087 COLONY tokens by spending 10 Hot Sauce. This is a very small amount, and I realized that the reason I receive so few COLONY tokens is because I don't have any COLONY tokens staked, and this greatly influences my earnings in Stakehouse Den.
This was interesting information, and I'll end this post here. Soon (probably tomorrow) I'll stake COLONY tokens and test the winnings again, then show you.
