Expanding My Chaos Legion Card Collection
In this post I'll expand my card collection by opening Chaos Legion packs.
In my posts I like to talk about Arcade Colony, so before continuing to talk about Splinterlands, let's learn a little about this game platform.
Arcade Colony
Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.

How to buy packs in Splinterlands?
Buying packs is very simple, you have 2 options and they are Hive Engine and the Splinterlands website.
Buying in Splinterlands
On the Splinterlands website, go to the SHOP option and then to Card Packs.
In the Card Packs option you will find the packs available for sale in Splinterlands, most of them are sold by other players.
I'm going to choose the Chaos Legion pack because in my opinion it's the best set to start with if you play the Wild format. The Chaos Legion edition has great cards and the pack price is low.
In Splinterlands, the lowest price for the Chaos Legion pack is 615 DEC, which is equivalent to $0.36, and you have the option to pay with DEC or Credits.
Let's take a look at the price of the Chaos Legion pack on the Hive Engine.
Hive Engine
On the Hive Engine you need a "code" to find an active item; the code for the Chaos Legion pack is CHAOS.
On the Hive Engine, the lowest price for the Chaos Legion pack is 3.99 Swap.Hive, which is equivalent to $0.35.
The best option is to buy it currently on the Hive Engine, so I'm going to buy 2 Chaos Legion packs.
After buying on the Hive Engine, you transfer the packs to your Splinterlands account.
When opening packs, use Alchemy potions and Legendary potions.
My luck was terrible and I didn't get any legendary cards, but I did get the summoner General Sloan, which is a good card for battles.
